Best nespresso machine out there but the controls are not intuitive- read the booklet and auto clean the milk dispenser each time (takes only 5 or 6 seconds). The end product is so worth it!

Nespresso Gran Lattissima by De’Longhi, BlackIt is a well made system. Everything works as intended and fairly straightforward to use. A nice feature having the milk right there, heating and it adding it to my drink without me having to do the work. A bunch of parts to clean. The pods aren’t the univeral shape so of course they’re expensive to replace. Even the re-usable sets are kind of pricey. Though I guess everything is these days. It also takes up quite a bit of space in my opinion. Guess you have to way your options as to the extra features outweighing the extra counter space. Back when I was a heavy coffee drinker this machine would have been amazing to have. Now that it’s a random thing I prefer my counter space.Regardless the machine works well, makes a great cup of coffee and give you plenty of options to achieve your perfect cup without a lot of hassle.

Fussy machine
While it can make good coffee it can be fussy when the milk foamer is attached. If it is not inserted exactly correctly it does not work correctly. It sputters and squirts, but does not produce foam.

I am now a Nespresso convert
I’ve been wanting to try Nespresso for a while and frankly, the cost of both the machine and the pods is primarily what held me back. I decided to give it a go with this machine because it is so feature-reach and seemed like it would be easy to use. This ticks off both those boxes. An added bonus is the footprint is quite a bit smaller than I expected so it doesn’t take up a ton of counter space. First the easy to use. Setup was a breeze, it’s pretty much plug it in, fill the water reservoir, flush the system with a few water cycles and it’s ready to go. Using it is as easy as putting the Nespresso pod in the pod holder, closing the door and pushing the button for your drink of choice. There are three size options for an espresso and another 6 options when using the included milk frother. The frother simply plugs in to the front of the machine and can be removed and stored in the fridge without the need to empty and rinse it after every use. So definitely a 10 out of 10 for ease of setup and use.The various options are pretty amazing. It’s a simple one-touch to brew your drink of choice. There’s about every drink option you can think of and recipes for various drinks are included. A good size sample pack of pods is included and replacement pods are readily available in a huge variety of options. The pods themselves are 100% recyclable and can be shipped back to Nespresso free for recycling.Taste and quality of the drink is of course the main reason for buying a coffee maker of any kind and Nesporesso hits this out of the park. Whether you like sipping on an espresso, using an espresso shot as a base or an additive for other drinks or if you enjoy a true coffee house-style drink this machine has you covered. The taste of every drink I’ve tried has been rich and complex. Pods are available in flavor profiles to match every taste and while a bit more expensive than some options they are not so high price that I won’t experiment to find out what I will end up liking the most.

Didn’t even get to use it
This machine I purchased new was very evidently not new. I set up the return as soon as I unboxed and saw the coffee stains. I’m disappointed that I didn’t receive a new coffee machine. If I wanted second hand, I would have selected to pay less for one.

High End Nespresso!
This Nespresso machine is very high quality and high end. Honestly, it’s been pretty awesome for my morning routine. Setting it up was a breeze, and I love how it doesn’t take up much space on my counter. The touch panel thingy is super intuitive; you basically get the hang of it right away, choosing from a bunch of coffee drinks without any hassle.What really sold me was how fast this thing gets going. Like, in 20 seconds, I’m ready to sip on my espresso, and if I’m feeling fancy and go for something with milk, it’s just a little bit longer. The milk frother part is cool because you can just pop it off and clean it easily or shove it in the fridge with the leftover milk.Now, the coffee pods are a bit pricier than what I used to buy for my old coffee machine, but the coffee tastes so much better. Plus, I don’t have to deal with the mess since the used pods just drop into a bin inside the machine. I wish the water tank was a bit bigger, though, because I have to fill it up more often than I’d like, especially when I’m using it a lot.Cleaning’s not too bad, but the manual that came with it is kind of a pain to get through. It’s got different languages mashed together, and the font they chose makes it harder to read than it needs to be.The machine itself is rather solid and definitely looks/feels premium, but I’ve noticed a few things that make me wonder about how long some parts will last, especially the milk container parts. They seem a bit fragile, and I’ve already noticed some wear after taking it apart for cleaning a few times. Also, the whole setup for the milk feels a bit finicky; you’ve got to make sure everything’s perfectly in place, or it doesn’t work right.But overall, I’m pretty happy with it. It’s not perfect, but for making coffee shop-level drinks at home without needing a ton of space or time, it’s solid. Just wish it could handle making bigger drinks, but it’s not a huge deal. If it weren’t for the few concerns about durability and the smallish water tank, I’d say it’s pretty much the ideal coffee machine for home use.
