Very strong with excellent mounting templates
The brackets came well packaged in foam compartments and the whole kit comes complete with brackets, hardware, a small spirit level, excellent instructions, and paper templates to aid in drilling and placement. This feature alone cannot be underestimated. Awkward pieces of hardware like this can sometimes be a challenge to mark, drill, and install. But using these full size templates makes the job 10 times easier.The brackets are extremely strong. The majority of the bracket is made from 1/4 inch thick steel bar so twisting or warping is not very likely. The whole apparatus is very simple and straightforward to install. Using the aforementioned templates, pre-drilling is a breeze. Once the pilot holes are drilled, it is just a matter of screwing it into place and adding the piece of board or countertop that will hold the mixer.This platform raises up to become flush with the countertop. The whole apparatus is an absolutely excellent design. It surprises me that the springs are strong enough to assist in raising the entire platform to its working height.Having the ability to store our Kitchenaid but have it ready for use in seconds is a real game changer. Until now, we had kept our mixer on a shelf to keep it out of the way when not in use. Because of its weight, it has been a hassle to pull out every time, but not enough of one to keep it on the counter. This however, will improve our work flow in the kitchen tremendously.All in all, this is a great, space saving device.

Same as original 1 Star review. Wobbly and loose support pivot on right side.
Left side stays where it’s supposed to – right side sags (quite a bit). This means you pull it up and level to lock in place, then it sags and wobbles when you let go.To add to that, the right cabinet mounting bracket forward arm was loose and could not be tightened. This caused the right shelf bracket to drop ¾”.The level was a nice touch but the shelf brackets sloped down in the front when the brackets were extended for use. I would like a replacement but I do not want to encounter what the other reviewer did (a unit having the same problem as the one he returned).Update: replacement received, installed and previous discrepancies mentions eliminated.Updating product from âï¸ to âï¸âï¸âï¸ only because the weight set screws barely had threads to hold the screws in place. Replaced screws with tensile strength bolts, washers and lock nuts.

Doesn’t hold firm and level

Lifts up my disc sander and stores it away when not in use. Just as effective as the one I use for my stand mixer in the kitchen. Recommended

Great mixer lift
“The description said that some installation aids were added, making it easier to open than other products. After trying it, it was indeed the case. Therefore,it saved me a lot of installation time. The video on its homepage is a detailed installation step, which also provided greater convenience for my installation.After installation and adjustment, the effect is very good. This mixer lift is much sturdier than I thought, and it puts my blender just right. I can easily pull it up from the cabinet and never have to lift the heavy blender manually again.”
