   Easy setup, simple to use, great for car camping!
   I had the tent set up in 5-6 minutes! Easy to use with straight forward assembly. The stakes are definitely for casual use; any windy environments will require thicker/sturdier stakes but, for a quick, calm overnight trip, the included stakes were fine. I would say the one-person tent is very large – closer to a 1.5 person size. Plenty of room for a full cot, backpack, water jug, hiking boots, handheld lantern, and camp shoes with room to spare. There is a hook in the center of the tent where I hung a light/fan combo. I didn’t use the rain fly so the air stayed comfortable in the tent especially with a little bit of circulation.I can’t vouch for the waterproof ability since it hasn’t been in any storms/rain yet. The rain fly is also very tiny; it literally only covers the mesh ventilation on top of the tent. Any blowing rains would probably risk coming in the mesh.

   Excellent Lightweight Tent for Solo or Duo Camping
   I recently purchased the Night Cat Backpacking Tent, and it’s exceeded my expectations! This tent is incredibly lightweight, making it easy to carry on hikes, yet it offers enough space for one or two people comfortably.Setup was a breeze—took me just a few minutes even in low light. The waterproof material kept me dry during a light rain, and I felt secure inside. The ventilation is decent, minimizing condensation without letting in too much cold air.Overall, this tent is a great value for anyone looking for a reliable, portable option for camping or hiking. Highly recommended for solo adventurers and casual campers alike!

   Had Some Issues
   Update: the company reached out to me within 48 hours, offering me a refund or replacement. They offered an upgrade to the next level, and since I still needed a tent for my kayak trips, I decided to take their offer of a replacement. They shipped it the same day and I received it 2 days later. Top notch customer service from them, I am very happy with their correspondence times and their willingness to replace a defective product. Hopefully the new tent lasts longer. I know others who have the same brand and have used them over and over with no issues. That’s why I went with them in the first place. I will update after I have had a chance to use the new tent.I waited almost a year to do this review because I wanted to do a good solid review after using it a couple times.I wanted really badly to love this tent. I have used it twice for overnight kayaking trips where we camped along the river and traveled 40+ miles in a weekend. The first night I used it, the grommet fell off on one of the bottom straps for the poles. I sewed a makeshift grommet out embroidery floss and that allowed the tent to stay up all night long so I could sleep that night. Fast forward a year, I used it again thinking everything would be okay, but the metal tip that fits into the grommet fell off when I took it out of the bag. Needless to say, I was unable to set it up and use it so I had to makeshift a tent out of my ground tarp. I am not happy with this tent at all. I wish I could say it was great but I just can’t.It’s not all bad, because it did fit me pretty well and my roll out air mattress along with all my camping supplies so it does have that going for it, but the quality is terrible. Especially considering that I only got to use it once before I had to buy a new one. This tent was a waste of money.

   Perfect Low-Cost Backpack Tent
   This is such an awesome product for campers on a budget like me. I haven’t tested it out myself yet, but my DOG sure has! She slept in it for three nights while I was away from home because I couldn’t bring her along and I don’t have a dog house.The tent is super easy to setup; it only has two poles. It sheds water just like it should. It comes with some cord so you can tie it down to the ground to prevent it from getting blown away in the wind. You get a mesh window on the door, and you can keep the door flaps open and out of the way with the attached latch thingys.I think it’s fairly obvious, but I’ll say it anyway. This is not for snow/extreme cold. No duh. But it’s perfect for anything else.One point of interest is the “rainfly”. It is not not fully cover the tent. The rainfly is a small tarp that covers the mesh on the roof. I recommend setting up a tarp above the tent in a flying configuration. You will deflect quite a lot of heat this way. With no extra tarp above the tent, I suspect it would get extraordinarily hot inside.Another thing to mention is the poles. They are made of fiberglass, which is not the lightest material ever. And a teeny-tiny piece of it must have cracked off and lodged itself in my palm, because the first time I assembled the tent, I had a stabbing pain in the hand that I used to handle the fiberglass pole. It has mot happened since, so I still recommend this tent. Just don’t rub your skin on the poles too much. If you have carbon fiber tent poles that happen to be the right length, just use those instead.Anyway, I digress. Great tent. Packs down small. Easy setup. Incredible price. Enough room for two people to sleep intimately, so I don’t recommend sharing the tent. I would call it a 1 person tent.

   Great customer service
   When I received the tent in the mail, the rain fly was damaged so I reached out to Night Cat support. They were very responsive and sent me a replacement quickly so A+ on their customer service. The tent itself seems good and lightweight which is what I was looking for. Can’t beat it for the price if you want something inexpensive to throw on the back of your motorcycle like I intend to. We’ll see how well the material holds up after a few campouts.

   Not the best tent
   The tent is small and easy to pack. The poles that come with it are worthless as the pull apart as you push them through during set up. Tent does not breath well. I used it for bike packing trip. I woke up the next morning and everything was wet with condensation as the their is little venting. I will try it again in rain to see if it keeps dry but I suspect it will need a tarp over it.

    Great little tent overall, however does need more heavy duty pegs. Just came back from a 3 day camping trip in the mountains. Was pretty warm first night around 16-18 C . Around 24 C in the morning with humidity. In the morning there was some condensation on the tent walls ( which is to be expected from a single wall tent). Was deffinately warm and stuffy inside , opening a door flap helped a bit and dried off the tent super quick. Tent was under direct sunlight so it really didnt stand a chance at cooling off drastically. Second night absolutely insane storm hit with some rain and very strong wind gusts . Tent was parked on the slope, and I pinned it to a hard rocky terrain. It felt like I would fly away a few times. I believe if I used pegs that tent comes with tent would’ve taken off , those were coming right out of the ground when I used them setting up, so I had to use extra pegs I had with me , they are thicker and screw into the geound.I was worried that rain fly is really small and wouldn’t protect much, but it held up surprisingly good. Did not come off, did not let any rain through. Tent did not leak at all, even when I touched walls. Considering storm went on from 7 pm untill about 5 am I find it shows durability.Yes do buy. For the price REALLY good value. Get 6-8 extra heavy duty pegs and you are good to go. Very roomy, set up takes 5 minutes.

    Great size/weight for backpacking. Easy set up. Surprisingly quite roomie inside. It even fits my 2 person Elegear camping pad. I like that each side has its own door so no one needs to crawl over someone to get out. I’ll try to remember to come back and give an honest review after it’s seen some weather/dirt:)
