Good optics, solid but not heavy, great for whale-watching
I wanted another set of binoculars to keep in my car as I like to check out reports of whales when I’m going somewhere or camping near the water. These were recommended and they work well. I’m just getting used to them but I like the weight and the optics and they come with a nice case (good for being in the car) and a strap.

Fantastic
I read a lot of reviews and decided to try these. They are great. We can sit on our back porch and watch wildlife in the fields behind our house. Even early morning and late afternoon the visibility is outstanding. Very easy to use and weight is no problem. Well worth the money.

Great quality binoculars
Used these for a safari on the Serengeti. They held up very well. The view and the lighting are great. These binoculars are a great travel size and the weight is very manageable. Would definitely but again.

I gave these binoculars to my husband for Christmas and he LOVES EVERYTHING about these. Lightweight, comfortable, super clear, the actual design and that the eye pieces also pop out to help your eyes stay the right distance from the lens. I was really happy that he loved them!

Quality Nikon glass
Very clear. Focus adjusts easily and precisely. Great for hunting and bird watching. Only drawbacks are eye covers fall off and no tripod mount

Very good optics for the price –
Good magnification for the price – used them on the beach and balcony overlooking the beach – desert – mountains – great for casual use. I wanted something not too expensive yet could deliver close ups of ships, critters etc….Also, wanted a pair that if somehow broke through transit or dropped I would not cry at the money….These also seem to be fairly rugged -with a very heavy duty neck strap. Just one note – if you are looking for binos that will bring things up close (and precise) from more than a couple to few hundred yards away – you may be disappointed – you will need to spend the bigger dollars on a higher power set….not a knock on these – just the facts…I like them a ot for what I use them for.

Fabulous!
Best binoculars I have ever owned! If you wear glasses, these binocs are a must have. With an 18.4mm eye relief I can wear my glasses and see through these Nikons comfortably. The Monarch 7 does not have as good an eye relief (16.5mm), so you will save yourself a couple of hundred dollars with the Monarch 5 and the viewing experience is still outstanding. Highly recommended!

Purchased to do a little bird watching from my balcony and while camping at the lake. Sharp image, easy focus. Smaller size, so comfortable to hold and easy to travel with. Lens caps attached, so I wonât lose them. Eye piece cover seems to fit well so far. I havenât tried in lower light yet. Budget friendly. Arrived quickly and packed well. Very happy with purchase.
