Vmax+ 150 is NiteRider’s first taillight featuring COB (Chip-on-Board) LEDs, which for cyclists means it packs more punch in a smaller, more compact package. Its feather-like light weight makes it perfect as a wearable safety light—easily clipping onto straps, belt loops, and more. Features Daylight Visible Flash (DVF) technology as well as Group Ride Mode where you can be seen without distracting fellow cyclists’ attention from the pavement or dirt. The USB rechargeable Vmax+ meets all required FL1 Standards for impact testing and dust/water resistance.

These are bright enough to be seen from a long distance
NiteRider Vmax+ taillights are a fairly compact extremely bright bicycle taillight. They come with a strap which can be attached to a variety of diameters of seat post. I purchased a couple of extra straps as I have several bikes and the straps are a bit fiddly to install while the lights can be removed and reinstalled easily. The light clips into the strap and has a lever release to remove it, The light turns on easily and once you’re done riding you can open a fairly waterproof cover and plug the light into a USB charger. These lights are visible from a good distance and can be set so they flash intermittently rapidly. There are several settings which enable the light to flash in different manners, some more energy conservative than others. I always use lights while cycling and look for the brightest and most attention gathering lights I can find. These NiteRiders fit that requirement well.

Simply the brightest tailight Iâve ever seen.
All I need to say is this is the 3rd one I have purchased. They are very bright, last a long time, are water resistant if sealed up after charging, stay connected to the mount even in my MTBs, and cheap. I used to just move my one around to my different bikes but at this price I just buy another one and make it a permanent install.

Truly bright enough for riding at night
I stumbled on one of these, someone’s left on the roadway, and to get the holder I bought another of these wonders. It pulses a very bright red shine, much stronger than my Cygolite, which I also like for it’s brightness. The other thing about the NiteRider: on its top is a lit on-off button that glows blue while sufficiently charged. When you shut it down by pressing the blue light, it goes dark–no doing it over and over.

One of the better bike lights
what I like about this light: Brightness, wide surface for better visibility, several steady or blinking options, easily rechargeable, clips on securely. AND (big one) it REMEMBERS the setting you used last. So I never have to cycle through many flash/steady options to find the setting I want.

It has a clip that you can use to attach it to your saddle bag
I can’t use a mount that attaches to the seat tube, and it was difficult to find one that uses the strap on the back of a saddlebag. But this light has a clip that makes it easy to use the strap on the back of my saddlebag, and probably yours, and it seems very secure. The user manual says: “Test for a secure fitment by pushing light upward, ensuring there is no movement and that the Lock Tab has engaged into the Clothing Clip. Do not push the release tab when testing for a secure fitment.”Just for grins, I pushed the light into the mounting bracket until I feel the click. I could not remove the light from the bracket by shaking it or pulling on it. I don’t understand how others had their light bounce out of the bracket while riding.I agree with the other reviewers that say that this light is extremely bright. I like it.

Very bright! Good for night riding.
I looked a long time for a good bright rear light. Love this one!

Crazy bright!
Easy installation on all seat posts. The attachment is very solid, the light will not pop out of the bracket. Period. Any review that says it does the person didn’t have it engaged properly. The light is crazy bright. I run it on the lowest setting and that is plenty bright for riding at dusk.

WOW!
This light may be small, but dont let size fool you. Do not look into this light when you first turn it on. Man is this thing bright. The modes it can be put in are very functional and if someone claims they are having trouble seeing you, then this is for you. Good product from what I can see so far.

6 modos. Buena intensidad.
