Great boots!
These boots actually fit! Right size. Right width (wide). Keeps my ankles stable. Cushiony footbed. Walk for miles with no discomfort. Great arch support. Keep my feet nice n dry and not wet from sweat ð. Also at a really reasonable price. Plan to order another pair to keep one for âcleanâ activities and the other for muddy/messy weather conditions.Sprayed them with silicone spray. Highly recommend these boots!

Awesome Boots
I’ve been wearing these boots daily for about 2 1/2 years now. I have worked in them, hiked in them, and just worn them as my general footwear nonstop. For the price they can’t be beat. Mine are pretty worn and scuffed by this point and they’re STILL incredibly comfortable boots. They seem waterproof, I honestly don’t know if they’re advertised as such but it’s never been a problem for me. They do get marked up pretty easy if you wear them regularly but they’re very comfortable all day. As for aesthetically, they give that combat boot appearance without being high top boots. Seem to support the ankle well. No problems with the zipper or velcro. My right boot has a tear in the inside in the back but it causes me no problems. Been there a while, so be warned about that possibility but I don’t baby them at all, I’m quite rough with them and don’t untie them to take them off. I just unzip and slip them right off so it’s bound to happen from the friction. You’ll probably be fine if you’re not as lazy as I am lol. By this point the insole is a bit warn and they’re not as comfortable to wear all day as they once were, but really not by much. They’re still surprisingly comfortable after almost 3 years of daily wear, and a new insole would solve that. Either way, the boots themselves are a great price and as long as they keep making them I’ll never wear another boot.

Very comfortable, easy to put on, great fit and support
They look great and provide excellent ankle support. I tend to be one who rolls his ankles too easily and I think these will really help prevent bad sprains. Comfortable yet supportive. Really really like these boots.

Not easy to put on, but decent boots overall
These are really difficult to put on and take off. The low back part doesn’t give you anything to grab onto and the zipper flap keeps it from opening up more to get your foot into.Other than that, they are light, durable, and look good. It’s just unfortunate that they don’t have a pull strap or something to help put them on.

So far I’m very happy with these boots (with 1 year review – AND 18 MONTH REVIEW)
Let’s get one thing straight right from the beginning. There are NOT high quality boots. They are cheaply made, but that’s ok because at $60 they’re cheaply priced. I knew what I paid for these, and that set the bar for my expectations: I’m not judging these boots to the same standard that I use for my $200 work boots that I buy locally.Ok, now for my first impressions (I will update this review in a couple months):Construction is 99% glued, not stitched – expected for an inexpensive boot.I normally wear a 12 wide, and that’s what I ordered. These fit really nicely right out of the box. I mean, *really* nicely. They fit like boots that have been worn in for a week first time I put them on. That’s a really big plus for me because on most boots (regardless of price) they just aren’t wide enough and squeeze the balls of my feet until the leather stretches. The support is pretty good, though I replaced the foam rubber insole with a better one right away. This isn’t because of any problem with the originals, I do that with every shoe I buy.Arount the ankles they are comfortable and supportive as you’d expect from an 8″ boot and don’t show any manufacturing defects that could dig into the skin or anything, so again, high marks there for a boot at this price point. The lowers have a reasonable tread, and after one light shift at work, I didn’t have any problems with traction or slipping. They are not the cheap ‘dense foam rubber’ that some boot bottoms are made with, they feel like ‘real’ rubber, if that makes any sense. Again, pretty good for a $60 pair of boots. The side zipper has functioned well so far, but it feels kinda light duty. Gut feel, I think this will be the first thing to go, but there are no problems with them right now, so we’ll see.Under the zipper is a web of light pleather material, I assume to help with water resistance. I though it would dig in and be uncomfortable once I tightened the laces, it it has actually been fine. So once again, very good for an inexpensive boot.So overall, I give these boots very high marks. I’m really happy with the fit and function after a day and a half. Five stars.I will edit this review if these boots fail or have any significant issues within six months, I think that’s a fair life expectancy for them. If thay last longer than that I’de consider it icing on the cake, and I’d probably buy them again if they do.Edit one year later:Ok, so bottom line is that these boots need replacing. But for me that’s not bad. I destroy all my work boots in about a year or so. But here’s the important part… THEY AREN’T FALLING APART. Don’t laugh… I’ve had some very expensive (comparatively) boots come out of a year’s use in much worse shape. The leather usually seperates from the bottom near my little toe but these boots are still holding tight!.The side zipper that I though would go first is still going strong and the pleather flap behind the zipper is still fine. The tread has held up…hmmmmm… moderately well, there’s still good tread left, but it has worn to be sure. They don’t look so hot anymore, they’re streatched and pulled, have some wrinkles in the leather, but compared to most boots after 1 year on my feet, these are doing great.100% I will be buying these again; but maybe I can get another month or two out of them…18 Month review:Ok, time for new ones. They still haven’t split, which is a small miracle as far as I’m concerned. The arches aren’t as supportive as they were new, and the outsides are getting pretty tatty looking.. the toes are culring up a little, there’s overspray on them, oil, dirt etc. But function wise, they’re really not bad. Honestly very good for a $60 boot. Very very good.I’m ordering a new pair today just because these look nasty, and are getting a little, uhm, ripe inside. I’ll probably keep these in the garage for poop duty. All in all, I’m really impressed with these… and the leather STILL hasn’t started to split from the lowers!

5 stars for value
Not the greatest quality, but great value for less than $50. Starting with the bad the eyelets are very tight, and the ends of the laces must be stretched to get them in. The tongue and the padding at the top are of questionable material and it’s hard to say how long both will last. They are waterproof as advertised, and it’s easy to slide my foot in and out of the zippered area even with the laces tight. The leather takes boot polish well, and a military spit shine is possible. They are light, comfortable, and relative cool (I live in Florida).

I bought these as a cheap hiking boot to get myself into back country backpacking and boy did they not disappoint! While I can’t directly compare these to a $200+ hiking boot, I will say that for a sub $100 pair of boots they sure impressed me.The hike was about 7.5km one way and the terrain I walked through was already mulched, soft and had only some small amounts of mud here and there because of a few days of rain prior to us getting there (although it also rained our first day/night. In this terrain, (as well as a paved road then gravel road walking to the trail) the boots not only held up but were very comfortable the entire way.I wore them all day long on the 3.5 day backpacking trip. This included the ride to and from the site, the actual hike itself and also hanging around camp. The material is comfortable with the zipper allowing for a tighter fit or for a quick loosen at the end of your day when you’re sitting around the campfire. The outside material is mostly leather and held up nicely on this first trip. I kicked rocks and large stumps as well as walked through some small mud puddles along my way and the boots felt solid. Although I have only taken them out once so far, I’m not worried about them falling apart.I can’t really speak to the water resistance too much as it only rained a little on and off on a couple days of the trip. And the only water I stepped in was only ever an inch deep at the most as these were my only boots and I didn’t want to risk it if they weren’t very water resistant. For what it’s worth, during this little amount of water that they did experience, my feet didn’t get wet at all.The only issue I had was the day after the hike the side of my foot was sore while wearing the boot. However I just unzipped the side zipper and this greatly relieved my soreness. And by the time we made the return trip my foot wasn’t sore at all. So this was either soreness from breaking in a new boot or I simply had my boot a little too tight.Overall I love these boots and I think they are an incredible value (especially for those just getting into tactical and/or hiking boots).

Bought these for a work boot. They’re sturdy and good enough to be able to walk around in all day.
