CGM Patches and Travel Case

Hi, my name is Ryan. I have T1D and began designing CGM patches in early 2020.

Being an engineer, I knew that the design had to satisfy some key criteria in order to be a great product. These included: small in size; easy to apply; kind on sensitive skin; non-stick area over the sensor in case you want to change it; and of course, long lasting despite sweating and swimming in the ocean. I’m happy to say that our patches tick all of these boxes.

How long do they last?

Our patches are designed to last 10-14 days when applied correctly.

Are they ok for sensitive skin?

Our patches use a medical grade hypoallergenic adhesive – which means they are kind on all skin types.

We are often told that our patches are the only patches that don’t cause a skin reaction for our customers with sensitive skin.

Should I wear them in water?

You sure can! Feel free to have a shower, go swimming in the ocean or whatever else tickles your fancy.

I have tried them all. These seem to be the best
I wear an Omnipod 5 Insulin pump which attaches to my skin with a strong adhesive. However I have several times pulled the cartridge off before it expired by getting it stuck on my waist-band or on a door jamb. These overpatches give added protection and double the sticking power. And they are fairly easy to remove when it comes time to change the pump (every 3 days!)

Painless to remove
I love this product! It helps ensure my omnipod stays in place and itâs painless to remove which is what I LOVE the most about it. It fits snugly around the pod so it takes a second to figure out how to get it in place but theyâre definitely purely worth it.

Good, but a little weird
These are good patches and worth considering. Typically I find patches like this to be frustrating to put on, but these were pretty easy. The backing is split into three parts, buy the weird part of that is it’s one giant piece and then two tiny slivers. I think they’re some of the better patches, and easy to apply, so are worth considering.

Good perusing but pricey
These patches are good at keeping your Omnipod on. The adhere well once you get them on, though they’re a bit fiddly to get on. Taking them off can actually be a bit difficult as they stick so well. Little on the pricy side at over a dollar a patch.

great diabetic accessory
TYPE STRONG Omnipod 5 Adhesive Patches work well with. They are easy to apply and the adhesive backing is easy to pull off with the little adhesive ledge compared to others we have used. They stay on well during sweaty activity, but the edges do peel a bit. They say on though. They feel comfortable but using the same site can make skin feel dry and itchy. My husband thoroughly enjoys these.
