It works great for outdoor lighting
There I was, on the verge of a Christmas light failure when I got to the very end of my string of lights and realized that I was out of electrical outlets. Then from a “package on the porch” came a powerful Outdoor light timer and not only did it have an extra socket, it had an accurate timer so that the lights will but automatically turned off and on at the appropriate times. The whole neighborhood was so impressed with the way the lights came off and on at the perfect time (just before we got home in the evening) and even Uncle Bill said “good job kid”.. so there’s that too!Summary:I used this for my holiday display this year and it does a really great job. It is definitely water proof and the timer was very easy to understand to setup. I didn’t even need to look at the instructions.

What a great little timer that’s super easy to use! It’s holding up well in the rain and snow. It turns on and off exactly when I have it set. It’s perfect!

Easy to set, Works Well
I’m using this timer to control my outdoor Christmas lights. It’s pretty easy to set, just push down all of the buttons together when you want the lights to switch. Its a heavy gauge wire and has a cover over the timer. My only complaint is the black and white colors on the dial are somewhat confusing. The times that would be dark are in white and the times that would be daytime are in black, which seems opposite to me.

This timer is easy to program and so far it is within two minutes of the actual time.I do like that there are two outlets that allow me to have two differing lines that are controlled by one timer. I am using it to run lights into teh barns to lengthen daytime in winter

Very good timer
This is a really nice outdoor timer which works well so far in cold and wet climates. There are a few videos if you’re trying to figure out how to use the “timer” which is the spin dials and the push/lift up tabs. Since the plug is a flat plug-in, it seems to fit inside multiple different spots without risk of being broken. The quality is very nice and it is a good way to light Christmas lights in my personal situation or even sprinklers which the water won’t get into the electrical components.
