   Comfortable curlers
   I love that this set of soft heatless curlers are easy to use. They are designed with metal hooks at each end that connect once you roll your hair up. The soft material make them very comfortable to sleep on. My curls and amount of volume after one night of setting turned out well. You will need to practice sectioning and securing your hair to get the style and results you want. Be sure to prep your hair with a light mist of water before using these curlers.

   Overnight Heatless Curling Set – Reviewed January 12, 2025.Hey there, fine-haired friends! Let me tell you about my adventure with the Overnight Heatless Curling Set. As someone with finer hair, I was excited to see if these large, velvety rods could give my hair the volume and style boost I was looking for. Right off the bat, I found their soft texture allowed my hair to grip a bit better while wrapping, which was a nice surprise.I managed to wrap my hair around just one roller in such a way that it created a base for a style I simply couldn’t have achieved otherwise. It gave my hair the illusion of fullness and made me look like I had more hair than I actually do! Plus, it was comfortable enough to keep in for a solid 24 hours. But when the moment of truth came to release the magic, I found gentle waves at the end of my hair rather than the curls I was hoping for.While these curlers did deliver on fuller-looking hair, I have to note that I get more defined curls from other products when styling during the day. As for comfort, these rods have metal hooks that clip together at the ends—functional, yes, but not quite as comfy as the long single rod style I prefer for overnight use.Overall, if you’re after gentle waves and some fullness, and you’re okay with a bit of a learning curve for rolling and placement, these might be just the ticket. They’re well made and do the job, though they’re not my first choice for bouncy curls.

   Long hair will work best
   My hair is shoulder length and while this did work on the top of my head, the ones on the back of my head did not stay in overnight any of the times I’ve tried so far. I think once I have a few more inches of length it will work better and I do think this product has good potential, hence the 4 stars, but if your hair is shoulder length or shorter, this may not be for you.

   Overnight Heatless Curling Set – 4 Large Brown Rods with Hook
   These heatless curlers are a nice alternative to traditional curling methods, but they do come with a bit of a learning curve. Unlike the single-rod versions, which use one rod bent over your head and held in place with a clip, there are 4 rods on which you need to wrap each section individually.For the best results, start with hair that is only lightly damp—around 90% dry. If your hair is too wet, it won’t dry completely (even overnight) and the curls will fall out. I like to mist my 100% dry hair with a water and setting spray mixture before wrapping the rods. For my styling preference, I like to wrap the front of my hair around a separate curler, but that’s optional. For the remaining hair, I evenly distributed it across the four heatless curlers (two on each side).The curlers are easy to work with once you get the hang of securing that first bit of hair around them. Each rod fits snugly and closes with the help of metal clips. You do need to bend the rods to close them, but they can be bent back into their original shape when done. It’s also worth noting that this package doesn’t come with a bonnet or scarf, so I used one of my own silk scarves to secure the curlers and to keep them out of my way.After letting them dry fully, I unclipped each rod (careful not to let the metal clips snag), and shook out my hair. I was left with beautiful, loose, bouncy curls. The curls lasted all day with a bit of hairspray, though they did fall slightly by the end of the day.

   Overnight waves good quality
   I already had 3 of these curlers and wanted more to style waves differently. I love these! They are easy to roll to head, very comfortable to sleep in and give beautiful waves depending on how long you leave them in. I usually use on my dry hair over night and they work great. By the way, my previous curlers came with scarf to wrap your head which keeps the curlers in well. So wrapping your head will give you success. I have used with slightly damp hair and as long as you leave in long enough you can get a slightly curlier wave.I like that you don’t need heat, they clasp together with clip and very bendable making them easy to use. The velvet like fabric around the foam is easy on the hair and comfortable to sleep.

   Would work great on a little longer hair than what I have
   It takes a little to get the hang of doing this. I was finally able to get them comfortable and not messy. I was able to sleep ok with them in. My hair is a smidge too short for these and my fine hair doesn’t always hold curl well. On someone with longer hair, I can imagine this would work really well. My hair just isn’t built for heatless curls.
