The most durable case made today
If you need the most durable, waterproof case that will protect whatever you put in it like it was in a bank vault, this is the case for you. The interior foam is diced, so you can customize it to fit whatever you need. There is a one way purge valve so it will equalize the pressure in the case if you fly or go up in the mountains. It has a place to lock it with a padlock, so you can lock it. I bought it to keep emergency equipment in, so the bright orange case stands out. You can’t go wrong with Pelican cases.

Looks good and tough as a rock
I have chosen to give the Pelican 1120 case a 5 star rating due to a number of features.1- The case is incredibly sturdy. I don’t worry about things falling on it and damaging my equipment. I often worry about damaging my lights or my camera in their soft bags (or semi soft or whatever you want to call a normal camera bag). With this case I can literally throw it in the back of my car and go on about my business.2- The foam was pretty simple to adjust for my needs. While not exactly “picking” as described, its easy enough to cut out to fit your object. It also feels like it should offer a good amount of shock protection for my equipment.3- It fits what I wanted to put inside it perfectly. There is no extra room and I am able to fit everything I wanted to inside.I’m using this to store and transport a Tascam DR-40 recorder, along with a windscreen, cords and extra batteries. I also discovered that I can fit the manual behind the top padding (I had to cut maybe 1/4 inch off the top and bottom of the booklet) so it can come along too.As a result of using this case I plan to purchase more Pelican cases for other gear and possibly to use as luggage for my travelling with the military. I recommend these cases if you have delicate things or want peace of mind for your possessions.

Great little case for traveling painting kit
This box is very cool. I am using it for a travel watercolor painting box. Everything I need stays contained in the box, and fitting the brush washing bottles in the foam decreases the chance for water spilling.I like the foam plucking idea. Whoever came up with that idea is a genius. You can shape the openings exactly to the things you want to have in the case.I would like the foam to be a better quality. More dense. The plucking out the foam was easy, and it works well. The last piece of foam that you use to measure and cut open to top the other foam off to make it look more neat: this I was not successful at.The foam is flimsy and did not cut well. And the holes in the foam should be smaller and denser so that when you trace out the shapes to cut them, it’s difficult to do. I couldn’t draw on it or cut it with precision. So it looked too sloppy to use.I will buy another piece of foam from a hardware store and try again.I haven’t tested this for strength or durability, nor for it being watertight.Down the road, after some use, I will update.I like the color blue, and I’m thinking that in the future, when I need cases for travel, I will look at their line of products. Especially for things that need protection. What I am using this for is more for convenience and it looks really cool, and for a very low price.I can paint in the car with less risk of staining the car with water or paint, as everything is nice and tidy and secure.I will post pictures to show what I mean.

Tough as a tank.
I have owned several of thee over the years and this was my first purchase back in 2010. So for 14 years this has been used and abused and looks as good as it did when I bought it. I have used it for packing valuables in while floating down a river. I have used it to store a firearm in my luggage when flying. I have used it with some foam to carry camera equipment into extreme conditions. It has never let me down. here may be some other cheaper options nowadays, but I can promise you that none will be more durable and airtight as this one.

This thing is durable.
I’ve been using this case for a first-aid kit and it’s been great! It is definitely waterproof, and has more than enough space to fit all of the items I need it to. Even for being thick plastic, it’s pretty light. The foam is great for keeping items from rattling around inside. The latches hold tight which can make it somewhat difficult to open.

Great case for whatever you have.
I bought one of these to carry and protect a ham radio (Elecraft KX2). If you are looking for a case for the KX2, this one is absolutely perfect in size. There is not much room for anything else in there, but the KX2 is a great fit an well protected.I dont think I can come up with paragraphs and paragraphs on this. It is an awesome, tough box as you would expect from Pelican. I have knocked it around plenty and the radio inside has been completely safe and dry. What more can you ask for?I bought this case with my own hard-earned money at full price. I did not receive any compensation or even encouragement to leave a review.

Perfect Case, Perfect Size
This is a fantastic case. I purchased it for my Klein Tools Multimeter and it was a perfect fit. The case is not just well made, it’s superior to any other case I searched for. I find the construction to be top quality and the closing clasps to be both tight and easy to open. I do not worry about them popping open or breaking in any way.My only tiny complaint is that the “Pull & Pluck” foam was a little difficult to pull and pluck and I ended up tearing one piece I didn’t want to. While this was my first time with it, I would of hoped that it’d be a little easier to pull. I’d recommend having an X-Acto knife on standby.

Great box for storing phones, keys and wallet etc when going kayaking. Durable and can be tossed around. The foam inside is nice too since you can put valuables without them being loose. Highly recommend!
