   Super reel for the money. Every fisherman needs a good push button spinner.
   I did ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for durability but I honestly haven’t put it to heavy use yet. It’s smooth, looks nice, and the reel has enough weight to really balance a 5 1/2” lightweight medium action rod out nicely. It’s not the lightest on the market but I don’t count that as a disadvantage. There’s lots of tough metal construction there.

   Huge improvement over the reel that came with my son’s combo rod
   Got this for my son who is getting into fishing. He can now cast 3 times as far and he’s smiling. It comes preloaded with line too which is a nice unexpected bonus.

   Good quality reel for a good price.
   I just got back from a week in Canada, and even though the fishing was not that good, I gave this reel quite the workout, and it performed flawlessly!!! I got turned on to Pflueger reels several years ago when I was gifted a “Cetina” model, and I was truly amazed at their silky smooth action. This reel performed as smooth as my “Cetina” model and it didn’t cost an arm and a leg. I highly recommend Pflueger reels.

   Better than Zebco!
   I bought one of these to set up a bass fishing combo for guests that come to our house. I am so glad I bought this over a Z33. This works great. It casts forever, drag works great, reels in smooth, and I haven’t had any tangles. I did change the line as soon as it came in to 6lb fluoro, and I recommend you do the same if you buy this.*****Update***** Jan 2019I just wanted to update this review after one full season of use. I still rate this reel as 5 stars as the issue I had was very minor. My father-in-law stress tested this reel by using it all summer, it is now his go to reel when he comes over to fish. The minor issue he had was the handle came loose 2 times while he was fishing, but some red thread locker fixed this issue and it hasn’t come loose since. IMO it isn’t worth losing a star because it was a simple fix. Even after heavy use this reel still casts a mile, retrieves smooth as silk, and has remained tangle free. I couldn’t be more satisfied with this reel. Again, stripping the line and replacing it with quality line has really brought out this reel’s potential. I wish I had one of these when I was a kid. FISH ON!

   Bought this reel for my grandson to replace a cheap Zebco. He loves it, smooth drag and casts much better!

   Lacking in quality and Customer service
   Opened the box and my first impression was WOW. This reel feels nice in the hands, and was very heavy for the size. I assumed this meant good build quality and metal not plastic parts. After the first trip of fishing the handle just about fell off. So ..okay I wanted to change up to some lighter 2lb test for the next trip and then I could tighten it up no problem. Second cast on the new line yielded a zero distance flop in my face, so i let some line out and tried again and it got out 15ft. then dropped like a rock. So i stretched and re-wound with zero improvement. So i went up to 8lb mono and it worked again. But now the handle has lots of side -to side play and feels loose while reeling. Checked the screw and behold it was loose again. As i inspected the parts and went through to grease and oil the gears / bearings i noticed the red paper washer for the handle was ripping in half. I contacted Customer support through Amazon and still haven’t gotten a response (2 weeks ago). I wanted to really love this reel so after i shimmed the washer with paper motherboard washers, I bought 4lb and 6lb kast king fluro-carbon for rocky river trout fishing. The reel went back to internal crap and wouldn’t cast either line no matter how many times i re-spooled with tension, with no tension, with pre-stretching, or without. I even tried 10lb and 20lb braid and lol that was a waste of an hour. So back to 8lb mono and spooled with good tension it finally cast again, but guess what .. the handle was falling off and the washer was toast. I had my 74 year old Dad look at it and he laughed and said look at my Pflueger and pointed to where it said made in the USA, then directed me to mine where it says made in china/. Also gave me advice on a spincast reels and says if that is the style you want then you better stick with zebco. Contacted customer support again to no response.

   Used it about 10 times now, casts good, seems to be quality materials, not real smooth when reeling in seems a bit notchy and a little bit of play in the handle, I don’t have another reel to compare to, but overall pretty happy with it and it’s trouble free for novice users.
