It works great! Such a novel thing too.
I got this as a Christmas present for my son who struggles with OCD and will benefit from having a personal blender. My husband said he was a little jealous that it wasn’t for him because he’d love to take it with him on road trips and make himself a shake in the car. Maybe my son will share, haha.There was a bit of a learning curve to use it. You have to double tap the power button to turn it on, which is a bit counter-intuitive. One more tap turns it off. There is only one button control. The blender isn’t as powerful as the ones we plug in at home, but the ability to shake and swish it makes up for it and you can get a fairly nice smoothie out of it. I like that it will only run when the blender is screwed on well, that’s a good safety feature.You can tip the whole thing upside down, screw off the engine, and replace it with an included base plate so you don’t have to drink it with the blender. The only gotcha is now you have this engine with a sharp blade sticking out of it. It’s a bit dicey, even if the blade isn’t that sharp. It’s sharp enough! But if you had a safe clean place to put it, this feature would be really nice. I suppose you can use it as your discretion. You could also just pour it into another container, which is what I think my son will do.The blender is easy to clean, though I don’t think the included brush is doing this product any favors. It’s really cheap and I probably ought to just toss it. The blender is a good value without it.Overall I’m very happy with it. My son can be hard to shop for, but I think he’s going to love this little blender.

I am in love with this portable blender!My thoughts:Packaging – All included items were packaged very nicely in a simple black box shaped to size. Included are – the motor structure, the bottle (with removable lid), and the charger. Everything was included; nothing was missing or broken.Usage: I must say, this is an amazing product (mostly because of its portability and efficiency). I say “efficiency” because it is far easier to take this little machine out when you would like to blend something and get those ingredients blended fast. With a traditional blender, there is a lot more setup time, plus they are much harder to clean!To clean this unit, you just need to fill the blender up with clean, soapy water, turn the blender on, and have it do its thing! The unit should be able to clean itself by doing so. (You could manually clean it by hand as well which is what I would recommend more).I have tried other franchise brands and to the people who ask which is better, I say this one. Instantly what I noticed was that this blender blends much heavier ingredients. It has a lot more blending power than the vast majority! Also, I have noticed that there is more internal space to fit more ingredients.Overall, I love this purchase. Not only will I be able to blend protein shakes quickly, but I can take this with me because it’s so small! Highly, highly recommend!

ALMOST AS POWERFUL AS PLUG IN WALL OUTLET MODELS
I’ve reviewed and thrown 3 other portable blenders because they were all weak, some won’t even work at all. This one surprised me, with others it takes 12 to 20 double presses to fully blend, this one??? JUST ONE DOUBLE PRESS and it’s so powerful. I did however observe the leafy veggies are not completely pulverized like the fruits do. This adds to some thickness/creaminess floating at the top when your drinking – but that’s okay, maybe if I had blended longer while shaking/tilting more.Instructions say use very very tiny cuts of fruits/veggies and ice, NOPE i didn’t follow that as those are for the 3 other portable weak blenders i’ve reviewed. I put frozen fruits/veggies, chia seeds, peanut butter, 1tblsp weight loss powder and lots of liquid – THIS WORKED PERFECTLY, NO POWER OR BLENDING ISSUES AND ONLY FIRST DOUBLE-PRESS COMPLETED THE BLEND.VERY VERY POWERFUL MOTOR, THE WEIRD JAR DESIGN I BELIEVE HELPS. I did not follow the instructions on turning it upside down etc AS I FIND THAT WEIRD having had 8 different smoothie blenders at home. so screwed to the motor, then load ingredients at top, only use the regular top with cover/sipper. Blended, then if I wanted to, turn upside down and remove the base, put in the flat base but i just find it too cumbersome when I can drink directly even with the motor base attached.HIGHLY RECOMMMENDED AND YES I WOULD BUY AGAIN, 2 MORE (1 AS A BACKUP, AND 1 RESERVE) AND MORE FOR GIFT GIVING – THIS IS PERFECT.

Good for smoothies and coffee drinks, but why not a solid top?
So far it’s been a pretty good little blender for making smoothies and iced coffee drinks. It has enough power to pulverize ice cubes. There’s a few small chunks left, but nothing too bad. You have to provide enough liquid for it to blend and you have to shake it a bit while you’re blending. But it’s a lot more convenient and easy to clean up than getting out the big blender.I like that the container is plastic. I had another one that was glass and the glass cracked (from the cold I think) while I was running it.It seems to hold a charge pretty well. I’ve done several drinks off the initial charge and it’s still going.What keeps this from being perfect is the top. There’s no reason to have that, it should be sealed on the top so that you open the bottom and then put the lid there. Easier to clean, less likely to leak, and one less piece to keep track of.
