Low flame up potential, maintains temp and cooks perfectly. Don’t kid yourself, its not really a smoker.. It’s a tiny grill that looks like a smoker. ( You can’t get enough charcoal in it to maintain a “slow cooker” smoke effect) You can only place about 25-30 charcoal briquets on the tray. However, that’s just enough to cook 2 nice steaks, or 5 big hamburger patties or 20 hotdogs, then the charcoal is spent. I recommend the use a Charcoal Starter chimney. Trying to start / lighting the charcoal actually in the grill will certainly shorten the life span of this really neat grill, The bag it comes with also provides a clean transport device keeping your trunk clean.

I love this for camping in State Parks. They usually have in ground pit/grils which are not great for cooking. This cooks perfectly. If you shut the top it can act like a smoker or can reach oven temperatures of 375 or more. It is okay for two people., perfect for the solo camper like me.That being said, I have two complaints. One the grill material is flimsy. It is a grill for gosh sake and this is thin, less than credible aluminum steel. The tray that holds the charcoal is very handy because once the coals are cool you can pick it up and dump all the debris and ash out. But it too, is made from super cheap aluminum. So cheap, it warped a little. But it still gets the job done, and I like it more than anything else I’ve found for in Park camp cooking.

It works.
Ok for a cheap quality product.The grill is assembled with screws and nut. No lock waskers. So the nut work loose and have to be constantly tightened.You get what you pay for. I wasn’t expecting a Webber.It does a ok job for what it is.Very portable,easy setup and take down.I’ll probably not purchase another one when this one wears out.But ok for the money.

Love this grill
This grill is great. We take it to the beach all the time. Travels nicely on top of the cooler, we just pop the legs in the cup holders on the lid of the cooler and it stays put, even over bumpy ground.

Quality is suspect
I ordered this for a tailgate, hoping to cook hamburgers and hot dogs on it for six people. It arrived without the handle to the lid and was extremely flimsy when put together. It didnât maintain the heat and had to be doused with charcoal lighter fluid continuously. It was such a poor product that I left it at the tailgating site and didnât want to bother returning it or throwing it out. For $42, I didnât have unreasonable expectations, but even being able to cook our food was a cumbersome task for this product.
