Better than our big patio grill. View window is great. Stainless steel helps with clean up.
We bought this table top grill for our travel trailer, and so far, it has been the best grill we have ever had – including our regular grill on our patio at home.We love the 2 burners with infrared covers, because they not only radiate the heat, they help keep drippings off the burners and can be removed for cleaning. The grill heats evenly, and being able to use one burner allows indirect cooking as well as direct cooking over the flame. Our trailer has both an indoor kitchen and an outdoor kitchen, but I much prefer cooking outside, and the interior oven is so short, that it won’t take anything taller than a cake pan. The cover on this grill makes my outdoor kitchen complete because it is tall enough to give me the “oven” I need to roast a small chicken or roast by using my cast iron cookware and a meat rack with one burner using indirect heat. I thought the window was going to be luxury, but I love being able to see the food as it cooks, and I think the extra cost was worth it. Since the grill, heat deflectors, and grill box are all stainless steel, it can all be scrubbed clean (although it can take some effort). There is a grease tray, but it fills through slits in the grill box, so the grill box gets most of the grease and residue. I am going to try lining the grill box with foil to see whether or not that helps with clean up. Like other reviewers have said, this grill gets really hot even with one burner on low. Lifting the grill lid occasionally helps, but if there is room, I start the grill with a cast iron fry pan filled with an inch or so of water and keep the pan inside while cooking. The water absorbs a lot of the heat and helps keep the temperature moderated to 350 – 400 rather than 500 – 600.

Awesome
Love this grill. The best part is how easy it is to ignite. A bit uneven grilling, but good enough, you just need to rotate your food more. I like the grease tray, it’s huge and catches everything. Easy to clean. It’s nice to have temperature gage. I have not used it as a portable grill yet, but the locks for the lid seem well made and will stay locked for transportation.

Good griddle, with some cold-spots
i’ll start by saying, for the price I paid, I was expecting much worse. It was very easy to assemble, the instructions were reasonably clear, and it was not missing any parts. The flat-top itself was slathered in whatever they coat it with for storage/shipping – which was a bit of a pain to get off – but that’s expected. It lights easily with the built in igniters, and gets up to temperature in a reasonable amount of time. It took about 5 – 7 minutes to get up to heat for searing a couple of hamburgers. However, there were some definite cold-spots (left back and middle back of the griddle). Perhaps if I’d let it heat longer it would have evened out, but it was easy enough to work around – and actually worked out OK for toasting the burger buns. With the burners on maximum, it gets plenty hot to sear meat. I haven’t tried doing much of anything else on it yet, but it seems adequate for the tasks I’ll be using it for.Cleaning is just as difficult as it would be for any other griddle. I’m not one of those who just scrapes the griddle off and calls it done — I wash and reseason after each use. The top lifts off easily, but is rather heavy. Trying to maneuver it in a regular steel sink is challenging. At about half the cost of the big-name brand, I’m happy with it.

Solid grill, excellent packaging, way better than the one I bought from Home Depot.
This is a nice table top grill, better than expected. My 6 month old Home Depot grill I just bought for $150 was stolen so I rolled the dice with this one and I’m glad I did. The glass viewing window eliminates the need to open it up and check your food. The design makes clean up easier and the full sized drip pan below was a pleasant surprise, love that feature. Manufacture did replace the cast iron grate with a heavy duty stainless version which will reduce rust and make it easier to maintain. It’s heavier than expected, and I highly recommend the cover, it’s really nice and has a draw string that does a great job of protecting it all the way to the table. It’s the first table top grill I’ve owned that is tall enough inside to allow the use of the heavy duty grill woks. The deflector shields above the burners are a little small so not as much heat deflection as my previous grill. Bonus points to the engineer who figured out raising the flame on both ends of the burner assembly and drilling holes through the deflector shield would allow more heat to reach the edges of the grill, that’s a first! Only time will tell if the Stainless is cheap and will rust but so far I’m loving it. I will advise new owners to use caution when grilling in cold rain or snow, the glass is vulnerable when operating at higher temps and cold water hits that lid when you open it.

Good product
Works well. I bought it to camping and used it to make food for about 20ish people. Also used it during church event and served burgers.

Got it
I would like to thank the sellers for helping locate my grill when it was delivered to wrong house. We got it. Putting it together was a breeze. Now we are about to fire it up to use for Fatherâs Day dinner. So far we love it. Very nice so glad to have the grill and grill cover that goes with the grill. Nice quality. Update: we fired it up and ignite it right away and heat it up perfectly.

Love this Grill
Love this BBQ, It heats up to 550 to 600 quickly, it’s well made out of stainless steel, it’s overall very easy to clean with an extremely easy to clean grill, it has two burners which allows for indirect cooking, portable if you need it, it fits easily on an inexpensive Walmart TV tray, it uses very little propane. Wish I would have seen it before I purchased a 2go POS portable infrared Char Broil grill which lasted about 2 months. I highly recommend Monument G22 grill.
