Nice alternative to the originals that are super easy to mount
The older ones in the first photo, get beat up quite fast. This is a great alternative to the originals! Any sort of walking will tear these up. They fit nicely on the cleats. Snapping them into the Shimano pedals wasn’t as easy as the originals, but this might be because they are brand new. They stay in place, once in and just happened to match my cleats.

terrible quality!
These are awful, compared to the original cleats that came with my pedals. Ive been riding clipless for over 8 years, and I’ve never experienced the challenges that came along with these. They’re extremely difficult to clip in and out, even with my pedals set to the easiest setting. I’ve never fallen riding clipless, in 8 years, and I’ve fallen twice with these in less than a month. I wish I hadn’t tried to save the $5 and just bought the original replacements, now I have to buy those anyway, what a waste of time and energy. Please avoid these and buy the original cleats!

Required some tinkering
Out of the package, they would not clip consistently with my PD-7810’s. After some analysis, I removed the rubber cushion in the middle of the cleat. This allowed the cleat to sit further down and produce a more positive and more consistent engagement. Not perfect but I am willing to give up a little refinement for $’s. Mind you, I have been using non-Shimano branded cleats for the last ten years and have never had an engagement issue with VP or Exustar cleats. The fact that these don’t perform like other non-Shimano cleats is quite a feat. It’s not like the SPD-SL is new technology. I will continue using them but will not buy them again.

Does not work with Shimano pedals.
Does not clip in at all into my Shimano SPD- SL pedals. Been riding clip less with non-Shimano cleats in the past, and these are the only ones that have not worked.

They don’t fit!!
These cleats didn’t fit my Shimano SPD-SL pedals without a lot of modification – cutting and filing bottom surfaces. I regret not paying the extra $10 for genuine Shimano cleats.

Wanted to try something new and different. Put it on right before my PBP 1200KM ride as old cleats were worn. First impression is the float is very slippery like your feet wouldn’t stay on the pedal. Take some time to get use to it. But after 600k the cleats were already so worn that will clip out by itself when pedaling. I manage to only do down stroke until I could bought the Shimano ones to carry on with my ride. Completely disappointed with such durability and luckily I didn’t crash but do hurt my ankle a bit because of riding in a tricky position when the cleats are worn. Think I would deserve a refund for testing this product
