   What???
   I used to pay $250 a session to get red light therapy and now I can have it in the privacy of my home for a one-time payment of $89??? I was sold!Red light therapy has reduced my fine lines, made my face’s skin plump out in a good way (increased collagen), and reduced the size of my pores. I am hopeful this device continues that good work.The size of this lamp is fantastic, and I love that it covers a wider area of me and is adjustable.    the infared light did not work.
   Red light worked well, the inferad light did not work.. the stand is great.

   800 setting doesn’t work
   I got the first unit and the 800 setting didn’t work on it. So I had them send replacement. Same thing. Other than that, it’s a nice unit. Heavy base, quality stand. Everything else works as it should. I really need to 800 setting though

   Red light therapy for less. More versatile than a hat or face mask.
   After hearing so many people having positive results with red light therapy for hair growth, I was willing to try it out. But the hats specifially designed for hair started at around $500. This was way to much spend for me. Luckily I came across this free standing light which has turned out to be so much better than I’d hoped. The base plate is heavy enough that it can stand on it’s own without tipping over. The adjustable arm works well. The light head will tilt up and down but not side to side. The large size of the light offers a good amount of coverage for the head and face and any joints. I use this for all three. Usually listen to a meditation video while I sit or lie in bed. The glasses that came with it look flimsy but they do work to dim out the brightness of the light.There are several settings to adjust. There’s 2 light levels – 660 and 850 and All. There’s 4 levels of brightness. And there’s a timer function that goes to 30 minutes in increments of 5 minutes. It doesn’t count down or anything. It just displays the time set and shuts down on it’s own. I actually timed it and it’s on point. It’s only been a few days and I have taken photos of my scalp. I will have to do an update in a few months to see if this has really helped to grow my hair back. Overall this is a great product so far. Great value for the price listed.

   Does so much!
   Red light therapy is great, helps my skin, my joints. I love this light. It’s sturdy, moved easily into every position I need. The different settings give me control over intensity and the timer is super convenient. Really a good product.

   The base of the red light was unstable and kept coming apart. The highest red light setting for pain did not work.

   3.5 stars, base not heavy enough, cheap arm, both wavelengths work
   I guess I’ll start by saying that I don’t like the adjustable arm, it is pretty typical cheap thin metal, but it sort of gets the job done I guess. Despite the arm being made so thin, the base is simply not heavy enough to keep the lamp upright if the head gets perpendicular to the base. As long as it is within forty-five degrees of inline it’s OK though. Another thing I dislike is that the control pendant is just eighteen inches away from the lamp head. This is a problem because it’s hard to get at it if you’re laying down under the lamp etc. It is what it is and it does work. I think the price under a hundred is barely acceptable as it feels much cheaper than that. It does cover quite a lot of area with a nice flood of light. If you get too close or stay too long on high power the heat will build up and you can really feel yourself cooking, this is not really a good thing so be careful and follow the instructions on keeping a safe distance and time. The visible red light is very obvious, but the invisible 850nm can be verified as functional if you have the right gear. I verified the invisible spectrum with night vision equipment.As for power consumption at its lowest settings it draws just about two watts and at maximum power with both wavelengths it draws about twenty watts. As for the power adapter, it has no signs of UL or CE listings so it’s up to you as to how much you trust leaving it plugged in and left unmonitored. I don’t trust it so I will just plug it in when I’m using it. If it’s plugged in and no lights it draws just about half a watt for what it’s worth.
