I suffer from allergies, can I use Rahua products?
Rahua products are made from very pure ingredients but allergies and sensitivities are unpredictable. As with any cosmetic, if you are highly sensitive, we recommend doing a patch test first.

Yes, Rahua’s products have a pH of 4.5 – 5.5, which is the same range found in healthy hair and skin, making it an excellent choice for all hair types and conditions, including color-treated hair.

What are Symbiotic Ingredients?
Symbiotic is Rahua’s signature standard. In order for an ingredient to be classified as Symbiotic, it must be rainforest grown in undisturbed virgin forest, harvested and prepared using indigenous knowledge by people indigenous to the virgin forest environment, and it must be purchased at a price that helps to grow and empower the indigenous people.

THE very best best curl butter I have ever used.
Rahua Enchanted Island vegan curl butter is the most delicious smelling product Iâve ever used. But if that wasnât enough, truly, it produces great curls and keeps everything in place. Add shine enhances my curls and improves the friends resistance. I canât say enough about this. I work it into my curls leave it in twist the shape and off I go. Iâve bought this several times and I hope they never stop making it. Iâm also, used the hydration shampoo and hydration conditioners. Incredible, canât wait to try some of their other items

Curl/wave definition
It has a slight plastic/chemical scent. I donât know what these reviews are talking about. Maybe I got a fake itâs hard to trust Amazon! Thereâs no seal on product either to top it off. Anyway. It wasnât super moisturizing buuuut I put on my soaking wet hair and let it air dry and it gave me very good curl wave definition. I ordered their shampoo of their website since Amazon packaging has bad reviews. Hope it works!

Review for Rahway Enchanted Island curl butterIâm not sure I have ever smelled such a wonderful smelling product. This looks and smells like it would be something wonderful to eat. It is nice and thick. I have used it two times with good results. First time was on dry hair and second after washing it. For myself I like applying it while wet best otherwise I am prone to applying too much to my dry hair. When I applied more of the product and combed it thru my hair there was a bit of stiff feeling after air drying until I brushed my hair. Tonight after applying it to wet hair I didnât notice any stiffness just niceness! This is a product I like and will gladly use on my hair. When you open this jar up there is one of those clear removable âunder capâ type things and it had a little of the curl butter stuck to it and that little bit is all I have used in two uses and there is still some left on it. A little goes a long way on my hair but my hair is not thick because of my thyroid but this product makes my hair look and feel better than it does without it. I like what if does for my hair and how it smells while applying it. I havenât noticed any lingering smell after my hair is dry although this smells so nice I wouldnât have minded!

Great for my curly hairâ¦.this holds the curl and calms the frizz.
My hair is naturally curly (just wavy in places) and frizzy, so Iâm always on the lookout for something that will nourish the curls and calm the frizz. This Rahua Enchanted Island vegan curl butter has a pleasant scent, is very creamy and applies easily. After the product has dried, my hair is manageable, with no frizz. I typically let my hair air dry, and this is great for keeping the curls a little tighter. But, it also leaves them feeling a little bit crunchy. I used a diffuser with the Rahua curl butter, and had more abundant, full curlsâ¦.and the curls were a little softer than the air-dried curls with the curl butter. I truly do like this curl butterâ¦.from the natural, organic ingredients to the pleasant scent. Plus, you only need a small amount, it has anti-frizz control, and it holds the curl in my hair all day. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone with curly hair to tame.

A little goes a long way
This Curl Butter by Rahua is very nice. A little bit goes a long way. I am caucasian with shoulder-length, wavy fine hair. I did find my personal preference was to only use a dime size amount. This small amount allowed my waves to hold without creating a crunchie wave. If your preference is a more defined curl or wave you could always use more product. I am currently into the heavy beachy wavy so I only need a very small amount. The texture of the product is very creamy, literally buttery unlike a lot of curl products I’ve used. Also, the smell was a mystery to me for a bit. I knew the smell was familiar I just couldn’t quite place it until a week after using it. It literally smells like a tub of vanilla icing. Sweet with a hint of vanilla. I actually prefer fruity smells but this one is ok in that the smell doesn’t linger in the hair, at least as far as I can tell. Overall great product.
