   I was excited for this!
   I am someone who believes in color therapy and is very much into energy healing modalities. First off, this was easy to put together. It was easy to start using.It’s important to be careful when placing it to the side, you want to be sure the panel is balanced with the stand so that it does not fall over (which I experienced).I used this on my back and while meditating, and I will certainly say I felt relaxed, even in my first session where I used it while sitting up. It gives relaxing vibes!I do love that it’s lightweight— you should have no issue bringing it with you to a family/friend’s house or even to an energy session. I can speak to its effectiveness for relaxation, as far as skin, that has not been my focus and when I ordered it, that was not a concern for me.I do, occasionally, experience back pain and have been using this as part of my at home treatment. Haven’t realized much of a difference but I’m also not sure what kind of consistency is required. It works for its purpose, idk if I’d say it’s enough to invest in it— as I already do daily activities focused on wellness.This is made well, no issues— besides what I mentioned before. I even had it standing on carpet and it stood on its own with no issues. It doesn’t take up too much space. Easy to set up and put away.All in all, it’s a cool system and ‘ok,’ as far as the product itself. The idea of it is nice. How effective it is — will vary by person. I certainly felt relaxed after each use (even when it was not for meditation purposes). But we’ll see as I continue to use it, if I notice significant impact.

   I lay on my bed to get a treatment. The timer automatically shuts the light off. The glasses are comfortable on my face.

   Well-Designed Red Light Therapy Lamp with Sturdy Stand

Although I personally haven’t seen significant results from the red light therapy yet, it’s important to note that experiences can vary from person to person. Despite the uncertain outcome for me, the lamp’s ease of use and quality build make it a worthwhile addition for anyone curious about trying red light therapy.

   Works very well
   First time using this type of red light device, honestly, I was pretty skeptical about this and skeptical about the things it claims it can help.The whole set is very easy to set up out of the box, the light is attached to the included stand, and the stand is firm on the floor with the light on. Angle can be easily adjusted to be used on different parts of my body.Recently, with a yard concrete project, due to intensive work with pickaxe, my hands were constantly sore and hurt sometimes. So I had a good chance to try this with my hands. I used it for about 30-45 mins on daily basis, and surprisingly, it did help reducing the muscle sore quite a bit. I didn’t do much research on red light therapy, but after using it personally for a while, I actually like this a lot!

   Too weak for radiant RLT
   Consumer LED Red Light Therapy devices (to simplify terribly) tend to be either low-power devices you place against your skin or high-power devices that radiate over a distance. If you look at all the pictures in the product listing, it is trying to pass itself off as a high-power device. It isn’t. It puts out about as much light as an RLT belt I have from a different maker. Put it next to a real radiant RLT device and you’ll see this is simply not putting out much light.There are things about this product design I really like: the stand and the curved surface for positioning and directing the light are very clever. But the suggestion that this delivers theraupeutic amounts of red and NIR light over even a 6″ distance are not believable. The product listing includes an illustration of its irradiance, showing values in “wm/cm^2”. There’s no such measurement – do they mean “mw/cm^2”? If so, the numbers are hard to believe.

   Great beginner device
   I use a few smaller light therapy devices and found this particular one from Advarays to be a good beginner unit with a large label and stand.    Red Light Therapy Lamp Pad for Face with 2 Stands and 2 Wavelengths
   This is a novel red light therapy device with a unique curved shape for better coverage. It is designed for the face and that curved shape allows the usage in a closed proximity and would be more effective. There are two stands to place the lamp panel. One is a table stand in a shape of a book stand for you to use on your desk. The other is a floor stand that allow you to use by sitting in the couch. This stand needs some assembly and tightening works to adjust, but it is very useful. There is a pretty neat floor weight and several adjusting arms to use. I feel warm and comfortable after usage. I also notice that there appears to be more LED lights at 850nm than those in 660nm, therefore I feel it takes longer to warm up. In fact, the light at 850nm is pretty strong and more harmful to the eyes. So, I always wear the eye protector when I use this device. Nice of the models on the web page wear an eye protector. That is dangerous. I encountered a little problem with the socket on the panel for power supply. I need to polish the inside of the socket to insert the power line. It ends up working well.
