Great customer service
I am updating this from a negative to positive review. My rangefinder worked great for a few months. Unfortunately, I then encountered an issue with my product’s performance. Since it was outside of the return period, I was not happy.I reached out to customer service and they fully resolved the issue. Actually, they reached out to me in response to my review and worked with me to ensure I was happy with the resolution. They were not obligated to this so I am very impressed. The bottom line is this is a very feature rich laser rangefinder and represents an incredible value for the avid golfer. It provides accurate readings, a clear display, a magnetic case and it is rechargeable. The battery seems to last forever! It even does slope and wind calculations but I don’t really use those much.

Precision Meets Convenience: The Ultimate Golf Rangefinder!
I recently invested in a golf rangefinder, and it has completely changed the way I approach my game! From the moment I took it out of the box, I was impressed by its sleek design and user-friendly interface. This rangefinder delivers exceptional accuracy, allowing me to measure distances with confidence. Whether I’m on the fairway or in the rough, the readings are quick and precise, helping me make informed club selections. I particularly appreciate the slope adjustment feature, which gives me an edge when considering elevation changes on the course. The display is clear and easy to read, even in bright sunlight, which is a game-changer. Battery life is impressive as well; Iâve used it multiple rounds without needing a recharge. It’s compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry in my pocket or bag without adding extra bulk.Overall, I highly recommend this golf rangefinder to anyone looking to enhance their performance on the course. Itâs an invaluable tool that combines accuracy, convenience, and style. If you want to take your game to the next level, this rangefinder is a must-have!

Great value for money. Solid rangefinder for golf at an affordable price.
This is an excellent Rangefinder for the money. I was able to pick it up for less than $100, so really hard to beat when compared to paying $300+ for a Bushnell or other brands. I use it solely for golf, so locking on the flag is the key.On the whole, I really have no complaints. It’s extremely easy to use, the sighting is clear, the magnet holds great on motorized cart or the belt clip, and the case is also solid. Just very well designed. You can adjust the sight, as noted, so it is crystal clear. I’ve played 5 rounds with the unit thus far and the battery still reads at 100%. Charging, when needed, is easy using the USB-based charging cable. One review I saw suggested that you could inadvertently switch the Slope Assist control on or off without realizing it, but that’s not been my experience at all. It’s not a concern. It’s well designed and is sturdy (certainly, sturdy enough for what it’s used for). The only reason I’m giving this rangefinder a four, rather than a five rating is because the consistency/accuracy is a bit suspect. I don’t doubt that it is accurate when you nail the flag, but I seem to need to shoot it multiple times to pinpoint the flag and get a consistent reading (and even then, how sure can I really be)? It vibrates, but even with that, it’s not always clear if it only vibrates when locking on the flag or vibrates anytime in locks on anything. I’ve taken to using my phone-based GPS as well, just to double-check the yardages and, in general, if I use common sense, I can be confident of the reading, but you can’t just shoot and immediately assume it’s right. I usually shoot a couple times unless I’m confident of the distance. As I use it more, I suspect I’ll get more comfortably with it.In fairness to the Red Tiger product, there are two caveats to this.First, I have pretty steady hands, but when I put the rangefinder up to my eye and try to pinpoint the flag and push the button at the same time, I definitely shake. So, I’m sure that a big part of the reason why I get varying readings is due to my shaky hands. I wouldn’t call myself unusually unsteady, so not sure if others will experience the same.Second, I don’t have a good basis for comparison because I’ve never used a competing rangefinder. Thus, I might find similar results if I were to use a competitor’s product given my equally shaky hands. Do competing products do a better job of locking on the flag then the Red Tiger? I don’t know. I will be checking with my playing partners and perhaps will try using one of their higher cost units just to see if there is any noticeable difference. All that said, unless you want to go out and spend 3-4 times the money for a Rangefinder, with no guarantees that it will work any better, you can’t really go wrong with this unit for the price.

Got it for range day.
Sure, this thing is intended for golfing, but I wanted this to help us build a pistol/rifle range on my buddy’s property. I just took this thing out of the box, and it really deserves an unboxing video. The packaging was done with great care, and the instructions are clear. It’s easy to attach the lanyard, and the magnetic feature is strong! I attached it to the included magnetic belt clip and shook the hell out of this thing and it didn’t even budge. I would be confident sticking this to a golf cart, if that’s your intention. The range is very accurate. I measured known distances within the house (up to about 20 meters), and it worked very well. It does not seem to measure distances less than a meter, but why would you even use it for that? The item feels well made, and it came with a full charge. I recommend reading the instructions before getting frustrated with this thing. Two buttons and a toggle control everything, so it’s important to know what each button press does. I like the 8 second power off feature, good for saving battery and not having to remember to turn it off. I recommend adjusting the focus not for what you are aiming at but rather for the display. Once you get the display sharp, it’s very easy to read. I will update this review once I have tested it at 100, 300, and 500 meters (I use metric because that’s what we used in the Marine Corps). It’s almost powerful enough to be used as a spotter scope, but it won’t replace your spotter scope. The zoom is just enough to measure your target. I give this thing an A+++.

I was hesitant as a Bushnell owner. It broke, the data in the view lense pixelated and done after 6-10 years, sadness. So first move was order a device for my son last fall in the $120-$160 range off Amazon. It was ok, not great at all, ok. I caved after some quick research and my club wanting $400+ for a Bushnell to give this Tiger a try.Just played the first round with it today and couldn’t be happier. I played like crap but that’s not the point here, the finder is excellent. Quick to lock on the pin, much better than my sons, great cross-hairs, actually has a button which I liked for feel. Some have the smooth raised rubber with button underneath. Perhaps more water-proof and crumb proof those are. A large in-lense view as well. All better than expected. I was hesitant about the USB battery charging thing. It’s bound to die at some point on the course yet it does have a battery indicator in the view finder which I wasn’t aware of on the purchase. That would have helped my purchase decision. Also knowing, they say a full charge is good for 30,000 shoots. Ya, we’ll see about that but even 5,000 I’m ok with. They have a moderately worded instruction, tiny tiny, manual which is my only complaint. Had to get out a magnifying glass to read it to understand the 3 modes including finding out how fast my partner is peeling out of the parking lot after losing the Nassau bet. Yet it finishes off wonderfully with how they strive to be the best company and ‘ya’, they make a good product. If you’re looking into a finder with full performance and not the Bushnell brand this is it, rock solid so far after day one.

As an amateur golfer I was pleased with this product. It fit my budget and was within a yard of my Garmin S2 watch. I wanted a backup to my watch as the battery is not lasting as long anymore. I also like the magnet feature allowing to stick to the cart.I would recommend this product.
