Works great
Bands from several different companies all work. Itâs sturdy so you can put a lot of force on the bar. Works great for flexibility and muscle building and maintenance

This is what I’ve been waiting for!
I just did my first workout with this bar today. All I can say is… OUTSTANDING! I’ve worked out using flat bands for about 3 years. All that time I’ve had to adapt, using a bar with clips that aren’t designed for this purpose. Other bars often come with carbingers that can’t accommodate large bands. I had to go to Home Depot to find 5″ options that do, but they are so big that the bands hang too low, reducing the effective range of motion with tension on the bands. This bar has hooks that are very similar to the ones found on the outrageously expensive system that rhymes with “pex thee.” These hooks are about two inches from the bar, which increases the effective range of motion with tension. In other words, you feel tension early in the movement, increasing the amount time your muscles are under a load. That 2 inches makes all the difference in the world.I ordered the 3-section bar. The sections are screwed together to make it a little over 39″. This length also results in more tension on the band. You can also configure it for 2 sections if desired. The bar is covered by a substance that feels like hard rubber, making an easy grip. The bar itself is made of sturdy steel that can withstand more weight on it than I can provide.I’ve waited for this bar for three years. Couldn’t figure out why no one had copied the hooks on the “pex thee.” Finally, someone did. To my mind, this is a way better value. Strong bar, collapsable so you can travel (giving yourself a portable gym you can take anywhere, unlike the you-know-who), and way more affordable. So far, way more than 5 stars. Should anything change, I’ll give an update. Now, I have to get some sleep. My workout wiped me out.UPDATE: STILL LOVING THE BAR! Wish Prebene would come out with a base plate similar to the one sold by the company that rhymes with Pex Tree. Also, a carrying bag would be great for traveling

Low price, expected range of quality
All the bands added up and doubled are definitely not 200 lbs of resistance (I am sure I cannot bench 200, but could easily do 10 reps of chest presses with all the bands doubled up.) One swivel on the bar does not move freely. Anyway, it is less than a tenth of the price of Harambe or X3 sets and works for me just getting introduced to resistance band exercise.

Hard to beat at this price point, but bearing on one end is no good.
I like the bar. It works great with a variety of bands. Just kind of annoying the hook doesn’t turn on one end, causing a little wrist discomfort.Edit: as this wears from use I’m finding that both ends are turning freely. I thought it might fail and get worse, but the steel is soft and is actually wearing in a good way. Keep it oiled though. If I’m working out enough to wear it out completely, I’ll gladly buy myself another one lol. Probably won’t happen though.I like this bar a lot. It’s the perfect length and diameter for the bands I use.

Bulletproof Bar
I was skeptical at first, but pulled the trigger anyway. This bar did not disappoint one bit. It gave me the ability to expand the use of my resistance bands. It was easy to assemble and had really good weight to it. Great value for the money.

Awesome accessory
Love the durability and quality build of the product. Such a great accessory, increasing exercise variations using resistance bands. Plus being able to take it apart makes it portable which I love for travel!

Not bad really
Look for the price this isn’t so bad. I have the X3 bar and while this is not even close to the quality of that, it’s not so bad. You will need to grease (or whatever lubricant spray you have) the two hooks on either side as when I received mine those hooks didn’t turn so freely. They spin fine now and the bar works like a charm. I wouldn’t use it for your heaviest bands but it handles all other bands from light to mid-weight just fine. It could probably handle the heavier bands but I don’t want to take any chances so I just use the X3. What I like about the bar is it’s length. The X3 bar is too short for some exercise and this bar is much longer.

Long bar can’t support 50-120 lb bands without bowing the long bar by doing deadlifts
I just put a slight bow in the center portion of the long bar after doing deadlifts with a 50-120 lb band. I still have 2 weeks to try out before the return period ends. I like the bar but now I only have confidence for using with lower weight bands or only using two portions for the 50-120 band, but not heavier, although I worry about the 3/4 inch threaded rod that bolts the sections together. I prefer my non-rubber foam covered bar that seems much stronger but it has rings for carabiners rather than easy to load hooks. I’ll use that bar for the heavier bands.

I only just got this and can’t speak much on the reliability, but I am really impressed!I have had a great set of flat/loop bands for a few years now, though I haven’t used them much because they can be uncomfortable using your hands to grip them all the time. I I have rigged up a DIY bar system for them but it kinda sucks. I went looking for a bar that would make using these kinds of bands more efficient and came across the perfect thing – the outrageously priced X3.Kept digging for an alternative and found this, and decided to gamble on it. I LOVE it. The build quality seems excellent and the ability to adjust the length of the bar with the 3-piece option will provide a ton of flexibility. Excellent product and a must have accessory for heavy loop bands.

Have been using this for a while now and they have worked out great for me and has been durable on heavy resistance bands. The rings or opening on the end turn but they are a little stiff under pressure so don’t rotate super smoothly. Despite this for me it works out well enough and for a decent price.

Very good product. Worth it if you are into bands. A must buy.

Very nice affordable item. Good range of lighter bands. The bar is good, but gets friction as the hooks move under load. I resorted to injecting grease with some success.
