   People Follow Me Around to Smell It!
   I’ve looked for THE perfume for me, all my life–I’ve worn others for a long time (White Shoulders,Chanel#5), but I just could not capture that “I’ll wear it forever” scent for me. There were many I liked…but none that made me go “THAT’S IT!!” When I read a description of this scent on a book about perfume, it sounded exactly like the scent I’d been searching for–and the extremely star-stingy authors gave it a 5 out of 5! That did it for me. I ordered it. And it was the beginning of a love affair–I will never, ever, until I die, wear any other scent. It fits all my criteria, which are numerous: it has to be subtle (I’m a teacher, I cannot wear heavy scents), it has to last a long time with a delicious “dry-down”, it has to be sweet but with a hint of oriental so it isn’t TOO sweet, and it could not be too expensive. And Tocade fit them all, to perfection. In the years I’ve been wearing it, I have had men follow me and ask what scent I am wearing at least a dozen times, if not more. Women do too. I’ve been asked so many times I’ve just printed all the info on 3×5 cards, and I hand them out. Once there was an older gent in the grocery store who was following my every footstep–I finally turned around and said “are you wondering what scent I’m wearing?” His jaw dropped, he was so shocked–but he said YES, he wanted his wife to wear that scent, but he couldn’t get up the courage to stop me! I smiled and handed him a card. 🙂 Now for the other side–there’s a lady who works near me and is allergic to all perfumes…and she isn’t shy about asking you not to wear it! She was talking to me one day and said it was really hard on her, because some people wouldn’t stop wearing fragrances (actually I wouldn’t either), and she turned to me and said “Susan, you always smell so good but I know you don’t wear perfume, because I never feel sneezy when you’re around.” (LOL!!!) So it seems to have super-powers, too. Love this stuff.

   Fine Product
   Though far from expert in matters of style, when it comes to perfume I simply trust my nose and I have always enjoyed Tocade. A pleasant, clean scent with a light powdery sweetness that isn’t overpowering. A scent light enough not to demand attention but complex enough to be interesting. This bottle was bought as a gift and has proved delightful as always.

   Bought this for me wife, although this “Scent” has been around a long time..It is wonderful..She get numerous comments about it, and people say they never heard of it…As long as we continue to find it on Amazon…I will continue to buy it for her, it REALLY DOES SMELL THAT GOOD..

   This is not the bottle that is sent, or the same odor as before,and it says that it cannot be returned …so you will only feel cheated by buying this produce,especially if you know and have loved it once before.

   Not what I was looking for
   I was under the impression that this fragrance would smell like roses, which it does not – perhaps I was misinformed. To me, it has a dusty, powdery, faded, muted, muddy quality – as if there are too many ingredients, or as if it’s trying too hard to be too many things – rather than having a “clear” scent. But that is my subjective opinion, and may not be the experience of others. It gives me a headache – but I think I may be oversensitive, since that is my experience with a number of fragrances. I had been looking forward to the classic scent others have described – but I will be returning this one. To be fair, others may like this, but it’s just not quite the right one for me.

   One of my favorite fragrances!
   This is one of my favorite fragrances, and it isn’t always easy to find. I was delighted to find it here and for a great price! I get compliments on how nice I smell when I wear this. The scent lasts all day!
