I really like this tail light
This thing is really cool. Lots of nifty modes, a cool design, with an excellent mounting system, runs forever, rechargeable, Incredibly visible. This thing is awesome, plus it shaped like a rocket booster for the kid in Me.

A Great Value for a Taillight
I purchased this taillight to augment the anemic flasher on my Garmin Varia Radar. The RockBros light is a great value and an excellent rear light. A full charge seems to last forever and the brake light function is appreciated by riding partners. The light is very bright and easily visible even on a sunny day. The light came with two mounts, a strap for the seat post or a clamp on mount for the seat rails. The light screws into either of them just like a bottle cap. The charging port is accessed when you unscrew the light from the mount. The strap mount works fine, but as a rule I just don’t trust straps. I used the clamp mount, which installed easily and holds the light in place on the rails. The clamp was a slight bit loose on my rails, but a small bit of tape under the clamp fixed the issue. I’ve used the light for about 1500 miles on gravel and trails with no issues. Taillights are a simple bit of kit, but I really appreciate the added visibility, both day and night. Hard to beat the value and function with this light.

Great tail light at Night
UPDATE: Rockbros refunded my purchase price, and I will re-buy when they make a unit that has auto on/off and motion sensing in the daylight. Outside of that, it is a very nice unit. Small and bright, with a good mounting system. The brake light algorithm seems to work well.UPDATE: The Q5 is a Tail light. The one I have, does not have auto on/off, motion sensing in the daylight – despite what RockBros.says. In fact, if you very carefully read the PR info, it says this. The tail light has manual mode, strobe flash and contiguous in the daylight, not auto on/off motion sensing. The RockBros Q5 tail light Has several problems. There is no way to shut off the ambient light sensor for the blink and breath functions. This makes it useless in the daylight and only useful at night. So the kid riding to and from school does not have a tail light, which is why I bought a vibration sensing/auto shutoff light in the first place. The manual says that mode 3 and 4 (strobe blink and continuous) are useful in the daylight, but they do not have vibration sensing or auto shutoff. So to get into that mode you have to push the button through all the other modes, and same to shut it off – not very “smart”.So, I took the unit apart (thus voiding the warranty) to see if I could cover up the ambient light sensor. That didn’t work because they use the off cycle of all the LEDs to sense ambient light. So, I had to block all the LEDs to keep it blinking in the daylight.I asked this question before I bought it, and got an inexact answer back from someone who is not a native English speaker.

solid simple dependable DH get-home solution
I do a lot of DH mtb on rough trails w/ braking bumps, jumps and places where things break if they’re not strapped on. This is the best tail light and I never need to take it off, winter or summer. To charge, easy to unscrew and plug into USB-C. It also doesn’t take any more space if you have a suspension where the rear wheel comes to the seat when fully compressed. I have a short ride on ped trails and small roads from the fun-parts, so this is nice to always have and be-seen! I always use the same mode, I think it’s 4-presses.

Nice compact little light; sure wish it strobed just a bit brighter.
Nicely made with a machined aluminum housing, mount and seat clamp. Really nice to not see plastic! Love the auto-off and ‘stop light’ feature. Battery life has been good and the blue indicator dots are helpful. You can’t compare this with a strobe type light so if that’s what you want I think the brightness will be disappointing. I wish there was an option to run the light full time at the stop light brightness even at the expense of battery life.

Impressive light in such a small package
This has to be the best bicycle tail light I’ve ever had. The fact these work as brake like by detecting sudden slowing in motion is impressive. Great price, super easy to use and two mounting options included. Our kids also love that they have a tail light that works when you hit the brakes!

¡ Best Tail Light on the Market !
I’ve bought FOUR thus far (for my bike, my husband’s bike, my helmet, and a back-up!). The battery indeed lasts a long time if you don’t leave it on constantly (the 2nd and 4th settings are my favourites); and unlike other bike lights, you can SEE the four blue dots telling you how much battery you have left!!! Itâs bright, small, super duper sturdy, the BEST quality I’ve seen by far from ANY bike tail light. (And I’ve owned the fancy brands like Bontrager, as well.)It also recharges quickly! To recharge or store, you’d just unscrew it from the base and that exposes the USB-C port.In my video you can see two impressive things: the blue lights flash every few seconds to show battery level…and THE LIGHT STOPS when you stop for more than a moment, and it starts up again with movement. Perfect light for me in every way! And I spend a LOT of time on the road in a big city (called Houston).

Excellent tail light
This light is a great solution. Itâs battery lasts a long time, itâs modes are great, the brake light feature is really nice and the form factor is excellent. My only complaint is the seat rail mount got in the way of the AXS battery. Most rails spread out and this can only be used where they are parallel. My solution, which anyone including the manufacturer, could do is to remove the threaded cup and offset drill new holes to reposition the light higher up. Now my light suits ABOVE the rails and on top of the AXS battery. More protected, doesnât interfere and sits higher up. Itâs now perfect.
