   Doesn’t stop immediately
   I’ve tried out several beach waver style curling irons and this one has some pros and some cons. Let’s start with I have longer, very straight hair that resists a curl due to lack of exposure to heat tools and color processing. My hair is virgin and healthy but also stubbornly straight. Having said that this did a great job of curling my hair and some of the curls even lasted into the next day which was a nice surprise. This is also a very pretty curling iron. The design in the handle caught my eye the second I opened the box. It’s beautiful and I wonder how much prettier it would look if it also came in a pearl white color. Just making a suggestion in case anyone which the power if design for this is reading reviews. Ok on to the list of loves and hates.Pros- long cord with included cable management.-easily able to select a temp and a lot of temp options-heats up super fast- stronger clamp-silicone cover for the clamp so you can get a good hold of your hair-the buttons are in good spots and you don’t hit them by accidentCons- no variable speeds option so you can’t slow it down-when you release the rotation button it doesn’t stop immediately it continues to turn for a half second. That might not seem like much but when your hair is on a hot tool and it’s getting too close to your head. That is a lot of time and tension on your hair and your scalp.-the cool touch end of the curling iron was warmer to the touch than I wanted it to be for my personal preference.-the instructions say to curl your hair and release after 5 seconds and I can’t figure out who that timeframe would work for because it wasn’t me. I had to hold it for closer to 15 seconds with the temp set to 390°Over all not a bad beach waver and relatively easy to use once you get the hang of it.

   Does what it says, easy to use, great for those with certain disabilities
   I have very long, fine, thinner hair. I also have a disability which leaves me very fatigued with muscle weakness. It is hard for me to hold a curling iron and twist it around my long hair to make curls. I love that this curling iron does most of the work for me. I had tried a similar self-rotating wand in the past, at a friend’s house, and loved it so much. This is a great value and, not only is it good for some people with certain disabilities, but also great for beginners who want that loose, bouncy beach waves. It also came with several accessories including a mat and glove.It heats to 430 degrees, but I try to stay around 320 degrees with my fine and thin hair. This worked great for me. It was pretty easy use to use after the first couple of curls (learning curve to figure out what each button does). The buttons are pretty easy to push and it rotates well and not too fast. I just start about an inch or so from the end of the hair since I avoid heat on my ends (using about an inch wide section of hair) and roll up in the direction of the curl. Be sure not to curl away from the strand or you will get a crease. It takes a little practice if you aren’t used to how a curling iron of any type works. I found it easier to curl my left side than my right, but I got the hang of it. It has a long barrel, which is great for super long hair, but may be a bit much for shorter hair.The photos show how my hair looked before and after and how I placed and used the curling iron in my hair. For those not used to this type of self-rotating curling iron, it may take a little practice. I find watching videos on social media can really help. All in all though, this type of curling iron does most of the work for you once you get the hang of it. I like a loose beach wave and this is exactly what I get with this curling iron.It’s a good value and would make a great gift, in my opinion. It does what it says, is well made and the color I got was pink and purple, like the original listing showed.

   This is a great curling iron product. It’s like a combo between a curling iron and a curling wand. I like the look of a wand curl but don’t like having to always be careful to not burn my hand. This is a great fix to that. It came with a heat protectant glove but I’ve not needed to use that. I love the curls that this produces. My only complaint is that the buttons are hard to find when you are curling your hair. The handle is always in a different location when you curl because it spins, so I felt I was always struggling to find the right button to curl the direction I wanted.
