   Love these
   Comfortable, warm, excellent support, perfect for dog walking in the rain. I chose the blue/grey a nice neutral. My go to for hiking.Fit is true to size.

   Perfect right out of the box!
   This is my 2nd pair of Saloman hiking shoes. I have a narrow foot and they are great for me. I wear a thicker sock for cool weather hikes. Just did a week hiking in sand, rock, and dirt and no blisters, no sore feet, great traction!

   Absolutely Great!!!! Did not regret at all….
   At first,I bought these shoes for trial. First day I wore it and went for shopping, came back with a lower half leg pain.But my son told me to try it for hiking,so thought to give it a try because our hiking trip was already made for Canada. Within 2 days we went to Canada and started our hiking in Jasper National park, Banff, Calgiri etc. We hiked 20 days in a row . As a newbie, these hiking were quite tough for me, but being very honest that these shoes helped me a lot and made my hiking quite easy. Grip or traction was quite good. Everyone in the group were wearing good hiking shoes, but I noticed I was the one who never slipped even for a bit. Most definitely I was cautious too, still shoes helped me noticeably. I was able to cross or go in some water too without getting my feet wet. Important thing I noticed was even after such a tough hike of miles and miles, night time my feet or legs were not achy or tired, not bruised. We went on glaciers too and there I could feel a good grip on the ice too. My shoe size is 5, quite a small feet and very tough to find choice of my shoes . But I loved these shoes. wine color is so beautiful. My feet are thin, so never felt the room problem. It’s comfortable for me. weight is definitely little more than regular everyday very lightweight shoes, but definitely not horrible. Soon I adapted the weight, but little less could be more better. After hiking, going for shopping or roaming here and there didn’t made my feet hurt. Within a week of trial, I bought these shoes and had great hiking experience. Thanks to Amazon for giving us the option for trial. Would definitely recommend these shoes.

   This is a great shoe, I don’t like the new design
   I have been wearing this hiking shoe for years, in an older design, I love them so much that I decided I wanted a back up pair, so I got this new pair. They are still just as comfortable, just as lightweight, and just as durable as they have always been, but I have one complaint. They’ve change the look of the shoe, only slightly, the shoelace tie ends are further apart than they used to be in design, I don’t like the way this looks as it makes your feet look fatter! I know that’s a strange complaint, but they just don’t look as good on your foot, it just looks like a big fat wide foot, when I put my old version on which is almost identical other than this one design portion, it looks like I have two completely different size feet. So Solomon, love the shoes still, but go back to the narrow shoe lace design where it’s closer together so my feet don’t look so fat! Lol

   Perfect fit
   I usually size up for boots, though I needed to size up an entire size due to the small toe box. I wear the boots for short day hikes, and they are very durable, comfortable, and functional for soft-sided boots.

   Good hiking traction
   Felt comfortable while wearing inside. But when I wore outside on a short hike I discovered the right boot hurt my foot. So now I’m stuck with a pair of unwearable boots.

   I go for long hikes in the woods with different elevations. I go on dirt paths with loose rock. There are tree roots and sometimes it’s muddy. I’ve had many slips where my feet go out from under me and I’ve landed on my back. I don’t have this issue with these hikers. Going downhill feels safer for me in these. And the shoes don’t make my feet hot in the summer and I can wear them in the fall and early winter.I’ve also tried these on the beach on large dry boulders. They grip the boulders well. And my feet stay dry when I walk in low puddles. Obviously, they will get wet if the water goes over the laces. These are not totally waterproof.I’m very happy with my hikers.

    I have narrow feet and these fit pretty well, although as per usual for walking boots I needed 1 size larger than for street shoes (42 instead of 41). They are very comfortable but the lacing doesn’t allow you to get them properly tight around the ankle. Also, the soles don’t offer much grip when it’s wet. I would only recommend them on relatively easy terrain, not really for tough & very stony mountain paths. Also, breathability is a bit limited, so you quickly get hot/sweaty feet in hot climates. I first tried them in Hatta (UAE) in March and at 30 degrees, they were a bit hot. But a few weeks later, at 20 degrees in Southern Europe, they were perfect.
