Great tool – pick the right length!
I got this for my mom after surgery and it works wonderfully. Strong grip, good quality and easy for her to use. However I was in a rush and just ordered without really looking at the size options. I got the smallest one and would prefer a size larger to reach item better. Remember to measure based on who will be using it, better to size up in my opinion. Overall highly recommend and would buy again.

Super sturdy grabber!
This device is pricier than some grabbers, but it is definitely sturdier than most, with a lightweight but beefy frame and very smooth grabbing action. Highly recommend.

Very useful product
More sturdy than previous ones I have used. Senior citizen here. Limited mobility. Limited strength. This device allows me to handle more daily functions without assistance. I really like it so far. The magnet is very weak but when hemming some thing, or working with paperwork, I can see how useful it would be for picking up, dropped pins, needles, paper clips, maybe even for small tacks and screws. Makes my life easier.

Love it…
I was given one of these during a hospital stay and decided to get a second one as worked so well. Well thought out product.

Much Used Tool
I needed to use this grabber tool when arthritis created loss of mobility. It was recommended after my surgeries, as well. Now that I have recovered and am more mobile and stronger, I still use it often to minimize the amount of time and energy needed to pick up all sorts of things. The magnet is great for small metal items that drop to the floor. This is one of those handy items that make life easier. It is well made and easy to hang for easy access, too.

The only reacher to buy.
I have bought 4 of these over time. It is the brand the hospital gave me when I was there. Very powerful grabber. While shorter than some, the Sammons reachers have a solid non-folding handle. Collapsing handle means little grip strength.Buy the two pack, you will lose one

Not for me
This may work for you if you have good grip strength, unfortunately doesn’t work for me. This was recommended to me by other people with mobility issues. Unfortunately, the handle is small and thin making it hard to grip, it isn’t able to grasp onto most things. I got it for getting boxes of cereal and such down but it can’t grab onto them with enough force to lift it, and even if you can lift it, the cereal just slid to one end and fell out of the grip and hit me as I was trying to bring it down. Tried using it for when I drop things but again can’t get a grip on much.

The aluminum shaft is strong enough to reach and lift medium weight items. The inset magnet allows for picking up very small metalic items. The gripper claw works very well.

No mide 26″, mide 24″ pero está bien. Excelente que se pueda doblar para no ocupar mas espacio.

There are a number of manufacturers of similar Reachers. This one is a tad more costly however, I have tried other makes and the Sammons Preston 31191 is superior. It is stronger, more durable and the grippers can lift heavier items. The magnet is more powerful. This short 26″ model, I find to ideal for a confined space. The longer model is good for outdoors. I was first introduced to this Reacher as a resident physiotherapy patient at The Toronto Rehab. Institute and have given some as gifts to relatives. Sometimes you do get what you pay for. I call mine ‘the grabber’.
