Great price works perfectly
Glad I purchased this. My husband seems to like it as well. I like the timer feature. Wish it came in black to blend in with black mulched areas.

Adds dusk to dawn to outdoor lights
Itâs currently staked into the ground and plugged into an extension cord, but will eventually be plugged into a wall sconce outlet with the extension cord plugged into it. The 6â cord will just get it to a foot above the stoop surface ⦠wish the power cord was twice as long.My spotlights, like many, have DC transformers on their plugs, so are very bulky. Because the receptacles on this (and apparently all other towers) are set up inline and tightly spaced, and this also has a raised area just below the outlets, one spotlight plug takes up all 3 outlets, therefore I can only plug one spotlight into each side. I donât see any towers that are better for this scenario, though. I wrapped the receptacle area with plastic wrap to keep them dry since the covers are wide open.It works great. I set it on dusk to dawn and it works flawlessly. The timers are terrific for shortening the amount of time the power stays on once dusk powers it on, so it doesnât have to run the lights all the way into the wee hours of the morning.Good tower.

Christmas Convenience
Santa’s going up on the roof this Christmas, so I’m going to need a remote control to inflate the fat boy. This outdoor power strip is ideal to keep all the holiday decos fired up and full of air. It can be set to turn on at dusk and run dependable from 2 to 6 hours, which is just right for the outdoor lights. I’ll be using all six sockets which should be enough, If not, I can add a couple of extension cords and outlet multipliers. There’s enough sockets here I should be able to make it all work. A good thing this unit has outlet covers, perfect for whatever surprises the weather has in store. As a bonus, it has a remote control so I can change the settings as needed, and a stake to prop it up in the front yard. I really have nothing bad to say about this outlet box. It’s perfect for the front yard decorations and will give a needed jolt…or should I say volt…to the holidays this season.

Perfect for holiday displays
I’m sure there are plenty of other uses – but this think SHINES for holiday displaysNo more tromping out in underwear and sorels! (nobody wants to see that)for halloween/Christmas etcnot only does this have a photocell and a timer (so you can hit just those display hours if you wish)but a remote…and that’s what I use the remoteThink about holiday displays this makes it easy..and if you don[‘t make displays easy , people do it for like 2-3 yearssecret benefit…the remote allows you to scare kids and dogs!! (oh, did I mention I’m a middle aged dude)[While this was sent to me for review, I take that job seriously. Getting people the wrong product is wasteful, irresponsible and a hassle for everyone. Not everything I review gets high marks — BTW, I live in a high sales tax state, review items aren’t exactly at-no-cost for me]

Awesome, great time options!
LOVE THIS! I have a pergola with lights wrapped around it, and it was getting annoying to constantly go out to plug it in or unplug it. This timer is on a heavy duty stake, so it slid into the ground easily and stayed put. It has several outlets which means I can use it for multiple sets of lights or just keep it on and use it for my electric grill. It has multiple time settings. Right now I’m using dusk to dawn (so sensitive it turns off if my porch light is on!), but if I find that I’m using too much electricity, I might switch to just a few hours. Luckily, it’s not dark early, so we can actually enjoy seeing it for those hours! I also like the sturdy covers over the outlets, so you know the unused ones will be safe when it rains or snows.
