Safety First, Style SecondâAnd Wallet Approved!
Buckle up, folks! ð´ââï¸ Iâm here to rave about this Lightweight Adult Bike Helmet thatâs a total game changer for my cycling adventures! First off, can we talk about how safe this beauty feels? Complying with the U.S. CPSC Safety Standard is like having a guardian angel on my head while I rideâno more worrying about those pesky bumps in the road! ðThe fit is where this helmet truly shines! With the adjustable dial fit knob and full-range padding, itâs like this helmet was custom-made just for me. I feel snug as a bug in a rug, ready to conquer any trail. ð⨠Plus, the adjustable side straps allow me to fine-tune the comfort like a pro. Itâs so easy, I could do it with my eyes closed (though I wouldnât recommend that while riding!).Now letâs chat about the constructionâwith two microshell layers and full-coverage EPS foam, this helmet is as durable as it is lightweight. I can feel confident that itâs not going to crumple like an empty chip bag if I take a little tumble. Plus, those 21 flow vents? Game changer! They keep me cool even when Iâm pedaling like Iâm being chased by a bear! ð»ð¨And letâs not forget the detachable visor to keep the glare at bayâno squinting for this cyclist! All this safety and comfort at a price that wonât make my wallet scream? Yes, please! ð¸So, if youâre in the market for a helmet that does what itâs supposed to do without breaking the bank, look no further. This helmet gets five stars from me! âââââ Safety, comfort, and style all rolled into one fabulous package! What more could a cyclist ask for?

Great quality!
I bought this helmet just for riding around with my kids and it was great! Fits well, never made me too hot. Then I decided to try down hill mountain bikingâ¦. Well I flipped over the hand bars and my head hit a tree straight on! I was fine! The helmet took a great hit and didnât even crack. My head didnât really hurt after the crash and it saved my head!Great protection! Great helmet!

My head’s in one piece!
This is my third Schwinn Thrasher helmet, and Iâm definitely a fan. I was wearing my first one, the basic black model, when I unwisely decided to bike down a poorly-lit street and hit a fallen tree branch that I didnât see until I was lying on the ground next to it. Afterwards, I discovered that my helmet was in two pieces, but my head was not. Iâm pretty sure I landed on my forehead, but I didnât even have a bruise on my head, let alone a concussion or skull fracture. (I did have assorted other injuries, but as the little instruction booklet that comes with the helmet explains, a bike helmet cannot protect any part of the body that it doesnât cover. Iâd like to thank Schwinnâs legal department for clearing that up.)I replaced my broken black helmet with the pink and purple version, which is cute, but it has the drawback of having white straps that quickly start looking grubby and are difficult to clean. I eventually replaced that one with this teal one, which is also cute. Itâs difficult to see in the photo without zooming in, but it has a pattern of four-pointed stars which adds a nice touch. It also has the more practical black straps, so itâs probably my favorite of the three Iâve had.Aside from the colors, all the Thrashers have the same great features. They have lots of vents which make the helmet lightweight and surprisingly cool. You can easily customize the fit with the adjustable band that goes around the lower back of your headâjust turn a dial to tighten or loosen the band. Theyâre well padded inside with individual pads that can easily be removed and hand-washed. (Just be sure to take a picture of the inside of the helmet before you remove the pads, or you’ll end up hopelessly confused when you try to put them back in.) And, of course, they have a couple of silly features, such as the rather useless visor and a big yellow sticker inside with an arrow labeled âFRONTâ pointing to the front of the helmet, just in case you thought the rear adjustment band is supposed to protect the bridge of your nose or something. (The visor is removable; the sticker, not so much.)So, bottom line, if you value your brain and/or skull, wear a bike helmet (and avoid dark streets). And my brain and skull are here to testify that this particular helmet works.

Safety First and Foremost!
This is a very good helmet for the price. And it is very lightweight and comfortable and easy to adjust to get that perfect fit.It seems to offer good protection in the minor to intermediate crashes that I’ve had mountain biking some intermediate to advanced trails. It felt comfortable while riding and is well ventilated that I never felt too hot or too sweaty under the helmet on my many rides.I’d say that this helmet is a solid product for 99% of casual bike riders that wont break the bank while giving you some peace of mind out on the roads or trails.

An ok helmet but the finish was terrible. The decals are glued with a very spotty application of adhesive. The adhesive, itself, appears to be poor quality, too.I had to clear the existing adhesive. Then, I applied epoxy to attach it back. Overall a disappointing experience, and I could have just returned the helmet but that mean riding with a naked head for several mode days. Other than that the helmet has been ok for the short period of use.The Quality Control has to be greatly improved.

The helmet is comfortable and the adjustments work well. The black color/design looks good as well. Haven’t had an accident with it, so can’t review the safety aspect yet 🙂
