   Worthless spool
   The spool on this reel is totally worthless! It would hold about 40 yards of line. I had to order a different spool off another website.

   Shimano Stradic 2500SHG 2023
   I have an older white Stradic 2500FG that is awesome but this one is better internally with trickled down Stella gears plus other internals such as Infinity drive which helps freespool and handle tension when working lures under heavy drag, upgraded water resistance and line management. The only thing I wish Shimano would add is carbon fiber drags for the smaller reels and possibly a extra deeper spool, other than that they are pretty flawless. This reel is exceptionally smooth.

   Muy bonito el carrete. Se siente algo mejor al girarlo, más suave. Y ligero, bastante ligero, no se si eso sea bueno por esa guerra de las empresas buscando reducir peso, adelgazando materiales que a largo plazo es menos vida útil.Me regrese a shimano ya que los ajustes glaciar no me gustaron, para mi gusto no hay como shimano en spinning. Voy a comprar una st.croix avid mediana de 6,8 extra rápida.

    シマノの最安リールだったアビリオC3000からの乗り換え。最初はアビリオで何の不満もなかったんですが、使ううちに剛性不足のがたつきが目立つようになりました。ベールに遊びができてアタリなのか水流のヨレなのかわからなくなり、大物を掛けた時に巻き負けたのをきっかけに中級機種へ買い替えました。最安モデルと比べると性能の差は歴然としていました。良くなった点を列挙します。・剛性があがったので水中の状況を感じ取りやすくなった。・リールに起因する変な振動や抵抗がなくなった。・スプールの糸抜けと正確なセンター軸でロッドガイドにあまり触らなくなり飛距離が少し伸びた。・スムースなリトリーブ感。等速で巻くことが簡単になりました。・釣れない時もかっこいいリールを触っていると釣りが楽しい。よく魚に近い所からお金をかけろと言われ、その理論だと一番重要ではないのがリールになりますが、最安モデルを使っていた私からするとそんなことはないなと思いました。むしろ魚が釣れるかどうかは場所と時合によることが大きいので長い時間触れているリールをいいものにするのが良いと思いました。エントリークラスのリールからの買い替え対象としておすすめします。

    Received my item today. It did not have any of the Shimano packaging. No plastic bags or wrapping around the reel, and there are noticeable fingerprints over the reel.What is worse is that the handle did not arrive. What is in the package is the main body of the reel only. I am going to seek a return, and this better be actioned.
