Works good for a one cup coffee maker
After first water run through the coffee maker I was ready to return it because all it did was run the water through with out boiling it. I ran a second water through it and it heated the water to 170 degrees. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because the seller claims a cup of coffee in 120 seconds, I timed a 12oz coffee with a k-cup, it took 2.5 minutes from press of the on button to the automatic shut off. To be fair, 120 seconds might be for a 6oz or 8oz cup of coffee but I feel that 120 seconds is misleading. So overall performance, I would recomend this coffee maker.

you get what you pay for
There’s a reason this is the lowest cost item among coffee makers. Not too sure about auto shut off – after running plain water through the 2nd time, a few minutes later the machine decided on its own to try brewing with nothing in it. I have to unplug it when my coffee is ready, and plug it back in next time I want to brew. Your result depends on how much water you put in and, if you don’t use a pod, how much grounds. It’s going to take a few mugs to get the balance of how much water/grounds right. Not worth it – I plan to upgrade to something with more options ASAP.

Small, not the best quality but perfect for our needs!
Single serve K cup coffee maker. This arrived ready to go. We sometimes like to have a cup of decaf coffee in the evening, and this works perfectly for that. The quality of the material used for this coffee maker is a bit low. However, for what we will use it for it is just fine. It comes with the coffee maker, coffee scoop and two baskets: one for k-cups and one for ground coffee. You do need to process two test runs of water before brewing a beverage. Itâs very easy to use and takes approximately 1 minute 15-30 seconds to complete the process. It has an automatic shut off as soon as your beverage is complete and beeps 5 times before shutting off. I really like that feature. I used hot cocoa as my first beverage, and it turned out great. Very hot, but not ridiculously hot. I would not recommend this for high volume use. Even though the material is a bit on the cheaper side, I would not hesitate to recommend this for purchase and give it a 5 star considering the attractive price point of the coffee maker.

Simply Practical
We got a K-Cup coffee maker from my daughter-in-law a few years ago and fell in love with it. Something about a two-minute cup of coffee in the morning is just totally appealing (who wants to wait around while grinds soak?) Only thing is, after a few weeks or months — depending on how much you use it — the coffee maker needs cleaning which entails a complicated series of button punches that have to be done in the right order to put it into “cleaning mode” and then another round for running vinegar or a cleansing agent through the maker. Honestly, it can get tedious. And the fancier the coffee maker, the more there is to go wrong. I don’t know why, but the last two we’ve owned went nuts or something. The “smart chip” technology went brain dead. That’s when I decided maybe simple is best.This single serve coffee maker is about as simple as they come. What’s great about it is you can put the amount of water you want in your cup instead of the premeasured amounts the more expensive models provide. Just fill your cup, pour the water in and you get back the same. What could be simpler? And it shuts off automatically. This single-serve machine is compatible with K-Cups and comes with a drip filter that lets you use ground coffee, though I’ve never found that to work very well. Seems like home ground needs to soak a little longer than most K-Cup brewers will let it. But I love my multi-flavored K-Cups anyway. This simple machine does the job and is easier to maintain. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of the more expensive makers, but really that’s just more to screw up. Who needs it!

I recently purchased the Single Serve K Cup Coffee Maker 2 in 1 Machine, and itâs been a great addition to my kitchen! The machine is compact, easy to use, and makes a delicious cup of coffee. I love the option to brew in sizes ranging from 6 to 14 oz, which allows me to customize my cup based on how much coffee I want. The auto shut-off feature is a great safety addition, and I really appreciate the reusable filterâitâs eco-friendly and saves money on disposable pods.The only thing to keep in mind is that you need to be careful with the amount of water you put in. If you overfill the water reservoir, it can overflow during brewing. Once I got the hang of measuring the right amount of water (1 cup or less), the machine works perfectly every time.
