They do a great job
I was getting low on my patches, but the normal brown ones I bought before weren’t available. I’m not a flashy kind of guy, but I thought I’d be bold and order the pastel version. The colors don’t offend me, and I think they may stick better than my first batch. Or, I may just be getting better at putting them on.

Holds on very well
Iâm new to wearing my Dexcom Stelo, so Iâm search for a patch cover that will not aggravate my adhesive sensitivity. So far, these are more sturdy than the other two Iâve tried.

sticks great, frays at the ends
I spend a lot of time in water. Between exercising, relaxing and just showering these covers get soaked and drenched for upwards of 2 hours per day.The stick is great, but the edges start to fray on day 2. By day 6 they needed a trim. I must have missed the part that said there was adhesive to go over the device itself when I ordered it – otherwise I would have pulled it and applied a fresh one.A couple of notes:1. I use Skin-Tac under the application site of my Dexcom 7 wearable2. The pastel colors are paler than they seem on the screen.3. Always go for an overlay that actually goes OVER and not around the sensor. Whether or not it has adhesive on it.at this stage I am only on my 2nd. if things change I will update the review.

My son’s Dexcom didn’t fall off during a 3 hour soccer practice!
My son uses the Dexcom 7. He needed something to help keep the Dexcom on when he was playing soccer for his high school, with the sweat during long, hot practices to the physical contact during the games. The skin grip is the only thing we have found that will keep that Dexcom in place during the tough circumstances. But, it is also stylish or even invisible, depending on the color you get. A co-workers asked me what my son uses to hold the Dexcom in place, so I recommended the Skin Grip. She now uses them to hold her Dexcom on her arm in the workplace. I will warn you that it does leave a residue when you remove, so you might need to use a bit of Uni Solve to remove the residue.

They stay on even when damp

Sticks to my Stelo Dexcom.
Center of patch sticks to my Stelo Dexcom and almost pulled it out of my arm. That would have been a costly error. I have other patches which do not have a sticky center.

Are they really waterproof?
I spend a lot of my time in the summer on the river. These patches peel up around the edges after the second or (recently) after the first time I spend the day on the river. Theyâre super sticky if you donât spend a lot of time in the water but by the time youâre ready for a new sensor these patches are peeled up around the edges and frayed, whether youâre in the water a ton or just having daily showers. They stick great to my sensor and donât peel off of it- so much so that you canât take the over patch off to replace it when it starts peeling up, even after the first day. Maybe Iâll have better luck with these patches in the cooler months.

they work for me!
iâve seen a lot of people complain about these but i love them. they hold up the full 10 days that they are supposed to. they are cute and add a pop of color instead of just my dexcom. in my opinion they are a little pricey BUT they are worth it for me. and the only âbadâ thing is i struggle to put them on myself, so my fiance does it for me. but they are stretchy and donât pull on my skin. i take a warm shower before removing them and it just feels like youâre ripping off a bandaid. i use alcohol wipes and skin adhesive remover to get the left over residue off.
