Works well, but is small & still leads to wrinkles and other things making it different from other
I used to use the Fixic patches, but after 8 months they would easily stop losing adhesion and start forming wrinkles — to the point that it would catch and drag my sensor off!So I decided to try these out….First noticeable difference (as an improvement or not), this patch is VERY small; a whole lot smaller than the Fixic. The reason being that even though the product picture shows a intended space for the sensor, the Fixic ‘s space’s purpose is so no adhesive goes on the sensor itself; this is not the case for this patch. Adhesive goes under all of the patch, so if it gets loose or you need to remove it, count on your sensor coming off as well! At first, my wife that applies the patch was convinced it doesn’t fit because it seemed so small. It seems to stick better than the Fixic, at first. I was rather convinced about it that I would’ve bet that it would stick better than the Fixic in the long run and never wrinkle up. I was wrong, in about 5-ish days, wrinkles started to form. I became paranoid because, unlike the Fixic, once this patch catches on a sleeve or something, it will definitely pull the whole sensor off; as opposed to the chance that the Fixic coming off but because it doesn’t adhere to the sensor directly. I was forced to resort on applying another patch over the wrinkled portion.UPDATEI am pleasantly surprised how well these worked out!I was very concerned about how the patch sticks directly onto the sensor (other patches stick around the sensor, not on it; in case you need to replace the patch), but it seems after 5 or 6 patches, it seems to not have been an issue. It was concerning when, after a couple of days, the patch (while it started out all edges sticking very firmly onto the skin) started to slowly peel off and show wrinkles. But what set this product apart is that although it may not have 100% all edges stuck on, the wrinkled up edges did not catch or pull off the patch (& sensor itself)! It goes to show how firmly stuck the patch attaches to the skin! Other patches, once beginning to wrinkle, catch on to clothes and what not and whether or not there’s adhesive on the sensor section or not, it will move itself and remove the sensor with it! This product will not have that happen!

Super sticky
These are so awesome! My first CGM fell off and luckily I got a replacement from the manufacturer but waited to replace my monitor until after I received the patches.I found out about these from a YouTube video and follwed the steps they suggestedThe steps were to 1) wash with antibacterial bar soap 2) clean with alcohol wipe and let dry 3) use skin prep+ to ensure the monitor sticks 4) after inserting the monitor, place the skin patch over the monitor. All of these steps combined kept my monitor in place. The skin patches are very sticky and helped keep my monitor secure. It’s so sticky that I used some isopropyl alcohol and even spirit gum remover to remove the skin patch and monitor. Definitely worth the money!

Great butâ¦
These work great overall. Easy to apply and stay in place for the 14 days. I worried it would trap water against the skin but it dried easily without skin irritation. I would have rated these a five star but they start to fray and get wrinkled within a couple days. It doesnât move or seem to affect its adhesiveness. It just isnât as neat and clean as I would like.

First time user
This past July I was prescribed a cgm, and had read they fall off at times, so I picked this up. It was a highly-reviewed cgm cover and I liked the color and design choices they offer. Since I wear my cgm on the back of my upper arm, it is not easy for me to apply, so one of my kids does it. Like the colors, and it removes easily.

Super sticky patches
These patches are super sticky but they donât last the full 14 days for me. They work really well holding the monitor on even though I only get about a week out of them. They are the only thing that gets me through the full two weeks even though I need to use 2 of them per the 14 days. I will say itâs a little hard getting them to fit on evenly for some reason they like to be uneven almost oval like. They stick really well so you need to be careful removing them because you may take your whole monitor off with it if youâre taking it off before the 14 day mark. If you knock off your sensor a lot I recommend trying them because these guys really stick

Larger skin grip is better
I have found the Skin Grip made for the Libre 3 does not last as well. The one sized for the larger Libre 2 sensor is better because it is larger coverage around the sensor. The smaller Skin Grip starts peeling on one side and then you can lose your sensor contact on that side. Iâve lost a sensor because of using these smaller ones. The larger ones might also start to peel up enough to be concerned around day 11, but because they cover more skin, they can peel a bit before reaching the sensor. The Skin Grips are pricey, but I have had no bad reactions to the adhesive and wonât risk cheaper ones that people have complained of adhesive reactions.

They actually stay on!
I went through so many brands of patches to help keep my Libre on and they all fell off or started lifting a day or two after applying- these donât go anywhere! Easy to apply and they stay on the full 2 weeks. Great product

Haven’t lost a CGM yet.
I started wearing a CGM (Librea 3) a few months ago and decided to try out the Skin Grip since the Libre has such a small adhesive footprint. So far I have not had one fall off, even after a week of camping where I spent hours in the water every day. Since my diagnosis I’ve been doing a lot more exercise, and sweating a lot more and still had no issues. I use SkinTac before applying the CGM and patch, then immediately apply the Skin Grip after applying the CGM.The only reason I don’t give these 5 stars is that I haven’t been able to find an easy way to apply them. I think it would be easier if there was a little bit of a tab on the backing to make it easier to grab. It also takes days to get the sticky off after removing the patch. I’ve tried alcohol wipes and TacAway which helps a little, but there is always lines of residue left behind that doesn’t come off. I suppose if it wasn’t as sticky then it would be more likely to fall off 🙂

Everything about these patches annoyed me. First of all its a premium price and the quality does not correspond to the price. First of all they are too small for Libre CGM, they barely cover the sides. It didnt peal much, however, it looks terrible in a few days, and its really hard to change it without ripping out the monitor all together because there is an adhesive in the center. Big disappointment.
