Works
Honestly, all I needed was for this to work.Great news. It works. It not only works, it works really well. My son and I both are learning golf. Constantly pay to go to the range was not making the Mrs. too pleased with me. So, when I had the chance, I got this net. I couldn’t be happier that I did it.It comes with a carrying case that all the parts easily fit within. The little plastic practice balls… well, they’re not why you’re buying this. The imitation grass mat that comes with it is a tough little sucker (I’ve hit it by accident a few times, tuck the edge down well before you swing). It gives you a good surface though to practice your swing in your own yard without creating a ton of divots. You have a short section of crass and a longer section. There’s thick rubber underneath, providing a little padding, so it’s not like hitting concrete or something. There are also two sized holders for your ball, simulating golf tees.Set up was not easy. We’re not talking “digging the Panama Canal” levels of difficult. However, it’s not as simply as tossing up a tent (which is what it looked like it would be). The shock-corded piping fits together nicely. It feeds through the supplied channels well. Then, when it comes time to use the l-brackets to connect everything up, you’re going have to apply quite a bit more force than seemed entirely right. Maybe it stretches a little with use. However, after that one bit of struggle, you’re done. It all fit, mostly, as advertised. Then, the big question. Does it stop golf balls?Yes.Nicely. Yeah, I hit one really badly so it skittered underneath, but it was going slow and wouldn’t have hurt anything if it could have reached anything. Nice solid hits are snagged neatly and dropped to the ground. We haven’t had a single one bounce back. It works. That’s really all I wanted.

Poor quality and even poorer customer service
Let’s start with the fact the package was missing items. The paperwork says to call them if missing anything. Well, I tried multiple times to call the number provided and nobody ever answered the phone?? Then the product is horrible to try and put together. Once I found a video online I was able to get it set up. Within a few days the tent like pieces broke through the nylon rendering the product completely useless. So I wasted over $100 on a product that I never really got to use and never even had all the complete items. I would highly warn anyone against this product since there is no service whatsoever to backstop the problems.

Good golf net but requires some work at the end
Was looking forward to this driving range kit as it may be awhile before I get comfortable going out to play golf on the course or hit balls at the range. Maybe 90% of the installation process is reasonably easy. There are two points that could be better. First, in one of the earlier steps, you are supposed to hook rings at the base of the net over an L-shaped contraption that connects the base to the top part of the net. The picture wasn’t that clear as to which of the two rings you should put in, but apparently one of the rings is for the stakes to stabilize the net. Second, it was a little hard to connect the last side of the top portion into the L-connector. It requires a bit of tugging and figuring out how to bend the rest of the net at the right angle to get the end in. Even with those two speed bumps, the whole process maybe took me 30-45 minutes to complete. The mat in the package is nice because it has a fairway and rough portions. However, I bought a 3′ x 5′ mat so I stand on a mat and don’t destroy the grass in my backyard with my footwork. The net does not appear to be very high and very wide. This is why I positioned my two mats closer to the net so it hopefully prevents the ball from flying over. I’m right handed, so I positioned the mats a little left of center, as I don’t think my hooks would go far enough left to miss the net on that side (knock on wood). I also have the net positioned to the left of a big tree, so in case the ball flares right the tree is there to block it. Basically, all these precautions are meant so that I feel more comfortable that when I swing the ball doesn’t end up in my neighbors property. The practice balls that comes with the set are plastic . They are harder than the foam practice balls, but are still quite light. I don’t know if a missed driver swing will be enough to cause damage to property, but I’m hoping I don’t find out the hard way.Having said all that, it was a lot of fun to start hitting balls again with a full swing and with regular clubs.Update From Day 2: The net isnât high enough. I have lost two balls in two days. Flush shots off a PW and 7-iron did the trick. I couldnât follow where the ball went when it launched off the net.

Works great…until it breaks
Pretty easy to set up. The problem is crap materials. The knot on one of the tent-poles broke, causing all of the pole sections to unravel. This was after ONE SINGLE USE! Returned to Amazon for my money back. For $100, you should get better quality. While it was up, it did work pretty good though, just be ready to repair it.

Perfect for keeping active during Stay at Home orders
This is a lifesaver for a little golf practice now that many of us are under stay at home orders. It’s easy to set up and fun to use. Even the kids can practice. It’s well made & sturdy and holds up to pretty heavy use!

Vendor sent a defective product
This product was defective because it was missing a critical part for its assembly. The vendor did not respond to email inquiries to replace it. Now I have a useless net that doesn’t stand up.Buyer beware. Caveat emptor.

Very big. Very durable. Somewhat hard to setup by yourself but it is possible easy to pack a way and bring with you. Comes with 12 wiffle balls and a excellent quality mat with a fairway surface as well as a rough surface.

Overall quite cool, the net is good, the balls are good I like how they don’t fly far if you miss the net so you don’t lose them. The net I needed a helper to get it setup. The one thing that’s the drawback is the like double grass with rubber tee thing, it just seems super low quality and I prefer to just go off the grass more often than not tbh. I think if it was larger and the grass higher quality it would be alright but I mean for the price it’s overall a good kit to have a smash in the backyard without losing stuff or breaking windows etc

Went to move net today and noticed pile has snapped. Today is June 22 return window closed June 5. You should stand behind your product and replace the broken pole at the very least.
