Heart monitoring with added features
Overall very pleased with features and functionality of this heart monitoring watch. I was surprised how easy it was to set up and get started. Heart monitoring, Comprehensive health tracking, improved my sleep, easy to read display, long battery life, call and text and step tracking. App was easy to set up with my phone and simple to navigate. Fits perfectly on my wrist and sits pretty comfortable. Plus Iâm really digging how the watch vibrates to set reminders.

Slick way to stay on top of your health and fitness but I’m unsure about the app
I received the Hisolan BP Watch F1 Plus yesterday and plugged it in to charge. Simply insert the USB-A plug into your power source and insert the USB-C end into the accompanying adapter. The adapter attaches magnetically to the back of the watch. I was surprised to find that the device was at almost 100% right out of the box. Nevertheless, I left it on the charger while studying the instructions.Iâm skeptical about adding apps to my phone. When researching iCareFit, in the App Store, I discover it was developed by what appears to be a Chinese company (translates to Red Armor) that has been in existence since August of 2022 with the most recent software update occurring 22 Oct 2024. When tapping on the developerâs privacy policy, Iâm directed to a 404 Not Found error page. Based on security/privacy uncertainty, Iâve decided to use the watch without the accompanying appAfter making the necessary adjustments to the band, I was set to test it out. The clock is apparently dependent upon the app as Iâm unable to make adjustments to the time/date. However, blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels and activities (to a limited degree) can be accessed without the app.I wore the Hisolan watch alongside my Apple Watch on my morning walk. After 30 minutes or so, I received a vibration indicating that Iâd closed a fitness ring. I didnât detect any other vibrations/notifications on my 5.5 mile walk however, two of my activity rings were closed (one remained open) and my step count closely matched that indicated on the Apple Watch when finished. Iâm unable to determine what the activity rings mean without utilizing the app but they appear to be similar to those used by Apple. When compared side-by-side with a traditional blood-pressure cuff, the systolic, diastolic and pulse readings were similar (but not the same) on five separate readings. The traditional Omron monitor gave results in 30 seconds whereas the Hisolan wrist cuff took a full minute to complete the reading. The pressure applied to my wrist was minimal compared to the Omron and not uncomfortable. When using the watch to test my blood oxygen, I received results similar to a pulse oximeter. Again, the watch takes approximately double the amount of time to provide a reading.I havenât tested the sleep monitoring aspect of the watch. Nor can I speak to battery life, but there was no appreciable loss after putting it though many tests preparing this review. The Hisolan watch is considerably larger than my 41mm Apple Watch; however, there are plenty of watches in this size range and some folks prefer a large watch face. The band is wide and slightly bulkier than a customary watchband. In all, I believe the Hisolan BP Watch F1 Plus is a pretty slick way to stay on top of your health and fitness. Iâll keep the watch at my desk for easy and frequent blood pressure readings.I wish I had more confidence in the app but am happy that the device provides health readings without requiring use of the app. It would make a lousy watch without the app though since Iâm unable to set the time/date.

Typical Smart Watch Function With Blood Pressure Measurement
The Hislon Smart Blood Pressure Watch is a rather large watch with an unusual band. According to the included manual, the monitor has a service life of three years but the band and cuff have a service life of one year. I suppose if the band needs replacement, you can contact the company. I canât find any replacement bands online. They have a website; just search for Hisolan. The watch comes with a charging cradle and USB charging cable but no charger. The watch arrived almost 100% charged and seems to be holding a charge well so far. You will need to download the iCareFit or CareFit App for iPhone or Android by scanning the QR code in the manual. I am not 100% sure about the security of this Chinese app but you cannot change settings on the watch without this app. The watch will work without the app but you cannot set the time or change watch faces etc. without a phone to sync to. The watch and the App have no instructions. The app is very difficult to navigate. The colored circles are hard to understand and if you want to record any activity other than walking, you have to slide the white bar at the bottom of the Data screen to select cycling, run or outdoor walk. The sleep analysis can only be accessed through the app. The watch has a limited number of watch faces to choose from. I have an Android phone and for some reason there is an Apple face in my listing. The Apple face will install but the date is wrong and canât be changed. I wish they had a face that you could upload a personal photo to. I tested the watch against a bicep cuff type blood pressure tester and the Systolic and Diastolic readings were similar but the heart rate readings were consistently 8 to 10 beats higher on the watch. As I am writing this review, the watch fails blood pressure test repeatedly. I am doing everything the same as before but it fails. I even tried fully recharging and rebooting the device. This watch is just too finicky for me. It has all the normal smart watch functions and adds blood pressure measurement with a removal, inflatable wrist cuff. This watch is not water proof. This watchâs price is very high compared to other watches on the market and the way these types of devices fail after about one year or so; I donât know.

Accurate & Easy to Use
I love this device for its accuracy and ease of use for basic blood pressure readings. Written instructions are included that explain that function. But those instructions include no information about how to access the rest of the watchâs features without first downloading the manufacturerâs app to your Android or iPhone.
