ââââ A “Good Enough” Storage Solution for Workout Gear ââââ
Summary: The Snughome dumbbell rack and exercise gear storage is a great option for organizing workout equipment. Itâs sturdy enough to hold my weights and gear without feeling overloaded, and it has an attractive design that complements my home gym setup. While assembly wasnât the smoothest process due to unclear instructions, I was able to put it together with some trial and error. The plastic wheels are definitely the weak pointâbetter suited for a stationary setup rather than frequent moves.Pros:- Sturdy construction holds weights and workout gear well.- Nice, sleek design that looks good in any gym space.- Fits a variety of exercise equipment with ease.Cons:- Flimsy plastic wheels are not durable for frequent movement.- Assembly instructions are unclear, leading to some backtracking.Tips:- Measure the width of your weights to set up the bars efficiently and save assembly time.My Take: While this rack isnât perfect, itâs a functional solution that holds my gear securely, as long as I keep it in one spot. The poor-quality wheels and assembly challenges prevent it from being a 5-star product, but as it meets the definition of âgood enough,â it still gets my recommendation for anyone needing a storage solution for home gym equipment.Additional Information: As a Vine reviewer, I understand the significant impact my reviews can have on fellow consumers. I, too, rely on reviews when making purchasing decisions, so I am committed to providing valuable and honest insights. This item has serious flaws. 2 Stars: Do not buy. Better than a 1 Star, but still has major downsides. 3 Stars: Buy if you can’t find an alternative. Some issues need to be addressed. 4 Stars: Recommend purchase. This item met my expectations. 5 Stars: I love this product. Also, if I discuss pricing, it is always because I have compared the reviewed item against comparable items on Amazon.

Poor wheel design
The wheels are not inline with the weight of the frame. This causes the threaded insert that the wheels screw into to bend. This makes the wheels useless. I had a total of 45lbs on the rack and the rack was sitting on carpet. Very poor design.

Wheels are useless
Sturdy design and easy to assemble. Wish they had included steel wheels and not plastic. They broke as soon as any weight was added. If you need to wheel it around, DONâT get this one. Otherwise good for the price.

Finally my gym is organized!
My gym equipment is typically disorganized and just strewn about the floor. I ordered this organizer and it has made a huge difference, I wish I had one sooner to keep the gym tidy and things off the floor. It looks nicer than I expected because of the wood shelves. You need to assemble it yourself but it has very clear instructions – each piece comes out of the box numbered and the numbers correspond to steps in the instruction manual. The kit comes with the necessary tools to assemble but we used powertools to make it easier. My 4 year old helped assemble it, if that’s any assurance on the skill level required!

Not what I expected
I wanted to love this product so much because I was looking into something like this to organize my weights and cable machine attachments as well as my yoga mat but from the very beginning I had issues. Building it took me very long because the pieces have to be aligned and placed in an exact way that isnât emphasized in the manual/instructions. Once I finished, I felt like the whole thing seemed a little too weak to hold up the weights I had. I used it anyway because thatâs what was advertised. 2 weeks later ALL the wheels fall off. The reason I gave it a 2 star was because I can still kind of utilize it standing on the legs but itâs not ideal because sometimes I do need to be able to move it around to clean my patio area and itâs kind of annoying having to lift it now. Overall I donât really recommend unless youâre looking to put lighter stuff on it.

The Look I wanted
I got this to organize the workout equipment in my house. I was definitely looking for one that had area to store my yoga mats and also my weights. This one allows me to do both, and so I’m satisfied with that. I also wanted a more elegant look with wood vs just the steel. I like that this rack came in a small box so it wasn’t huge or heavy to lift. I’m able to store up to 300 pounds of items on this rack overall. I don’t nearly have that much the stuff to put on here because I use light weights no more than 10 lbs each at home. But i’m happy that I have the space because now I can upsize later. I love this if this has lockable wheels, because I’m able to easily move move my workout equipment, which is one thing that I was concerned about, since I don’t really have a designated workout area and will have to alternate spaces periodically. I’m really hoping that it is durable but only type will tell.

Spend more money get something that holds up
Placed a total of 32lbs on this thing and the wheel went out.

Light Duty Weight Rack
I ambitiously loaded this rack up with free weights ranging from 5 to 25 lbs. I was able to fit plenty space-wise, but almost immediately the bottom wheels crushed under the weight. I was able to remove the busted wheels, and now it just sits in one place. With that said, I do like the rack. When used for LIGHTWEIGHT weights and equipment, this is great. It is now holding the lightweight free weights and misc yoga equipment which is what it should only be holding. If you need a low profile, light duty rack this will definitely work!
