Great lightweight rod option
Iâve noticed that some reviews mention this fishing pole breaking on the first use, but that hasnât been my experience at all. This is the 4th one Iâve purchased, and the first three are still going strong, even after being used by young fishermen who can be pretty rough on their gear. Weâve been using these poles for over two years now, and theyâve held up well.The pole is sturdy for its size, but I wouldnât recommend it for super large fishâanything over 10-15 pounds might be pushing its limit. However, for the trout and bass fishing we do, itâs been a great choice. The rod is lightweight, portable, and easily fits in a car or backpack, making it convenient for traveling to our favorite fishing spots. As long as you take care of it and avoid targeting oversized fish, this pole is a solid option for recreational fishing.

I bought this rod and reel combo over a year ago cause I travel for work alot and I’m usually around water.Storage is great, slip together pretty easily if u follow directions.Built strong!! Man I’ve use this rod and brought in mean sized gaffs and stingrays and a massive drumThis rod did have a few defect but if never stopped me from catching fish, points twisting at castI finally broke the tip of reel due to my error so I’m here buying a new one!! Most deff a perfect gift for a dad

Seriously amazed
This combo is a beast! Fits great in my suitcase for starters. Iâve landed large small mouth bass on the Mississippi River in Minnesota and decided to see what it could do for saltwater in Tampa. Handled speckled trout with easy but what really impressed me was fighting a 26â lady fish that took drag on multiple runs, jumps and lifted it 30â to the bridge.

This was used on our first fishing trip. It was easy to use the carrying case was great. Size is great. I was able to handle the rod well I was able to adjust to it easily. It was worth the price.

Piece of Gaarbage
Bought two of these poles for my grandchildren for Christmas. The whole idea was that they were transportable and came with a very nice carrying case. We could use them whenever and wherever. Well they came to visit us at shore this past summer and they brought their poles and we put them together. I was very pleased with the assembly process and the quality of the reel. Well it turned out to be a very windy week and we never were able to go fishing over by the bay. Well now the problemâ¦..we cannot take the poles apart no matter how hard we try and other family members have even tried. We tried so hard that we broke one of the eyes and still no luck. Both rods were impossible to break down. We tried every idea on the internet including Sougayilangs suggestion which was also on the internet. I suppose other people have had the same problem with their poles. Nothing but nothing will break these poles down. The worst part of this whole deal is the company that supposed to have such great customer service has never ever returned one of my emails and there have been several and a phone number is impossible to find. I might add that these poles have never even touched water they are new never used. If you are thinking about purchasing fishing poles I would think twice about buying Sougayilang. There is no customer service regardless of what they say. I am one very very disappointed customer.

the best fishing rod ever
This was my first fishing rod, and it was a steal on Amazon! I mean, who wouldnât buy it for such a low price? It was exactly what I was looking for – a cheap and functional rod. The build quality is incredible, and itâs so compact that it fits perfectly in my backpack. Itâs so useful and convenient. And letâs not forget about the reel – itâs smoother than some of my more expensive rods!
