What’s the difference between the two switch types: Impact Activated vs. On/Off switch?

No, it gradually dims. Replace A23 battery when noticeably dim.

Such fun! Just no hitting! Difficult on/off.
My son LOVES this. Weâve enjoyed playing catch in the early darkness, zipping this green orb through the air to each other. He constantly wants to take it to play with friends after practice, too. One word of warning: this is not for HITTING. Playing catch only!It is a little hard to open to turn off and on. My husband seems to be the only one who can open the ball, then it takes little fingers to manage the on/off switch. I think a little remote would be helpful and a good idea.

Awesome concept, but falls short with the battery
Got this ball for my son as he loves to play baseball well into the evening and was having issues seeing the ball as the sun went down. Ordered this ball to solve that problem and boy was i excited for it. As soon as it arrived i soon realized that although a great concept, you would have to dismantle it after each use just to turn it off. This soon became an issue as the process to take the battery out isnât something a 6yr old and even many adults wonât be able to figure out on their own. This literally is the only thing preventing a 5 star rating. Ur best bet is to order multiple batteries as the battery is so small and easy to lose during the process of taking it apart to turn it off. Had such high hopes for the ball, but the battery issue just seems like could have been easily avoided by a simple switch or Bluetooth connectivity to an app on ur phone.

Itâs great, I really love it. It feels high-quality, real leather, and has the same weight as a baseball. I would love to see an option for interchangeable lights (since the illuminated part is removable), so it would be nice to have a set that includes a ball with 3 types of lights, or the option to buy the lights separately

Itâs made for « soft pitches » on soft surfaces (grass). We tested it out without being careful at all and we really enjoyed it at night, it truly glows bright but hardly resisted the laser pitches we missed on gravel roads at the cabin between us 3 drunk brothers-in-law ð!A bit pricy, but if youâre careful, itâs a cool gadget!

The ball and lighting are great the ball itself works great and feels like a real baseball. My son and I love it. We would use it a lot more if you find the on off switch. Company has to come up with a better way to turn it on and off. Itâs extremely annoying even with the tiny on off switch only accessible when removing the battery case.Maybe a motion sensor like some other products would be a good solution.

The instructions were confusing then actually putting the light back into the hole of the ball was frustrating seeing as you have to line it up a very particular way and then twist it and then make sure it clicks in. My issue was it wouldn’t fully go in so part of the light stuck out. I got it in finally after a day struggle but once back in it was permanently stuck. The light burnt out cause I couldn’t turn the switch for the light off. Cool concept but rethink the design..
