Love the option of wireless
Rather than turning on lamps, accent lighting, Christmas tree(s) manually, just press a button on the remote and you have light. It works so well for those lamps and accent lighting you put in more difficult to reach places. Having a remote set up right inside the door with 3 options gives up instant light options without using an overhead light.

The best Christmas purchase ever!
Outdoor Christmas light are such a pain to go turn off. This has a simple remote that turns off the barn lights, house lights and driveway lights from the kitchen. Super simple to use. Just plug in and the remote has a simple 1,2 and 3 button to turn them on and off. It has made Christmas lights a breeze and you do not need to go out in the cold every night to turn them off.

Works great!
This works as advertised, no issues so far. I was a bit hesitant to purchase because all reviews which gave it 5 stars were reviews being by people given the product to test it. I wish I’d been one of the lucky testers who didn’t need to pay, but because I did pay, I thought I should leave a quick review. The product reviews of other similar products, mention range issues or remotes without included batteries. This product had no issues. Great range and came with installed battery. Would definitely buy again.

Great for outdoor lighting!
This was great for my Halloween lights. Looking forward to setting it up for Christmas since I not only have lights but lighted figures. It’s perfect because I have two different sets of outdoor outlets. One set is connected to a switch inside the house; the other set is not. This allows me to control all the lights in all four outlets from inside the house!Great price and really did the trick.

Maybe a 5 maybe a 3?
This remote control worked strangely for me. To be fair the specifications say 100 feet “free area” which I assume means without any walls in the way. I don’t have any place that is 100 feet away that needs a remote switch and is free of any walls in the way. In my 60 foot barn it seemed to work just fine. I then tried it where I need it, in the other barn. At first from outside the barn I seemed to need to aim it at a window to get it to work. Then in seemed the more I used it the more it worked even when I pointed it at the foundation with the light upstairs being controlled. Then I tried it from inside my other barn and it didn’t seem to work. I was beginning to wonder if all of the electronics in the old barn were interefereing (modem, router, switches, Ooma, 3 phone base stations etc. So I moved the light to the new barn and tried it from the old barn. It didn’t seem to work at first and I was about to give up when I noticed I had to hold the on button a little longer now even in the same building. So I went back and tried it again holding it for like 10 seconds and it worked fine basically going through two buildings and from about 85 feet. Could be the battery is not strong enough. The remote uses one of those small 12 volt batteries like garage door openers use and I don’t have a spare. So I’m going with 4 stars because worse case you have to hold the on button longer. The reason for knocking off a star is it says “for outdoor use only” and then says “avoid exposure to high-temperature sources, direct sunlight, or exposure to moisture” which pretty much defines outdoor use. It looks the same as many other outdoor timer plugs I’ve used, so not sure why they say that. I’m assuming it will work fine other than letting it get buried in the snow.
