This is one terrific TV
We purchased this tv for a guest room, looking for a 32 inch model with built-in Amazon Fire functionality, 1080p resolution, a decent remote, and a reasonable price. This one seemed to check all the boxes. The tv arrived in one day, well-packaged and in perfect condition. Set-up was very simple. The picture quality is fantastic, with bright colors and excellent contrast. The sound quality is good, much better than we were expecting from a small tv, definitely good enough for the room we put it in. In fact, we donât plan to add a sound bar at all. It was simple to install the apps we use on our main tv. We are totally satisfied with our purchaseâ¦it met or exceeded all of our needs and the price was great.

Easy Setup and Good Picture
Full discolosure: I took a multi-decadeTV-watching hiatus, so this is my first smart TV. It was very easy to set up. I chose the option to use the QR code, and my phone pretty much did the rest for me. The remote is simple to use. The external, air-wave antennae attached without any difficulty. Picture is good, and the volume is sufficient for my small living room. Was shocked at how little the TV weighs. If you’re looking for a smaller TV, I’d highly recommend this one.

Good TV, Slow OS
TV is good, the operating system they use is horribly slow though. Expect 30 minutes of updates when you take it out of the box and connect it to the internet. It feels really light, mounted well on the wall with a small mount. LED underneath is more of a status indicator, it doesn’t stay on all the time (the clear/whitish thing under the TCL logo). Would be nice if the refresh rate was higher but it suits the purpose I got it for. If you play video games, I wouldn’t use this as a primary monitor for that.Remote survived a chomp from a large dog, same dog chewed on a Chromecast remote and broke it. I wouldn’t compare it normally but he bit it in similar spots (on the power button). It’s nice you can use the FireTV app for this TV to control from your phone as well, can ignore the real remote if you want.Audio is pretty “tinny” and voices can be hard to understand, typical TV, easy enough to do what I did, get a Bluetooth speaker, connect the AUX cable to the TV and to your speaker, plug speaker into TV USB for power only. Or you can use wired speakers too, some places sell Bluetooth transmitters for 3.5mm plugs as well. You can tweak the audio settings to make it audible without extra speakers.Display is clear, didn’t notice any dead/stuck pixels. Plenty of screen adjustment for me, unfortunately no HDR but it’s an inexpensive TV. Color is good, nothing to write home about, won’t exactly blow your socks off.An okay amount of applications, finding new ones and customizing the layout of the menus is a bit tedious but typically a one-time kind of thing. Can access games, I haven’t tried to play anything on it.

An awesome purchase
I need this tv to be shipped to Colombia, but I was afraid that the package was damaged during the travel. The TV arrived the estimated delivery date, and is perfect for the room. I read in another reviews, that this tv have a light that can be turn off at night, but this model although have a light, it turn off automatically after 30 minutes when the tv is off. The setup was really easy, the only thing that I did not like is that prime video app should be mandatory the same account that you use to register the TV, and it cannot be changed. The video and sound quality is awesome, and the price is just perfect!

Volume doesnât work and TCL has been a nightmare to try to get a resolution
We bought this for our daughter a few months ago. The volume on this TV doesnât work when itâs first turned on and you have to unplug the TV from the wall and plug it back in and then it will work. A month ago I reached out to TCL to see if they will send a replacement. Weâve gone back-and-forth in email with different requests from them. I had to show him a video of what happened. Send pictures of the tv. I asked them to send me a new TV and I would return this one. Finally, they said they wanted to send a tech out to my house to try to repair it. I donât want this repaired I would like it replaced with one that works. Itâs a brand new tv so it should work. We still have not reached a resolution, and I feel like this is the most simple warranty claim in the world and could have been resolved right away. I will never buy an other one again.
