What makes our products unique?
Every design is original, and meticulously engineered in-house for superior functionality.
Why do we love what we do?
As outdoor enthusiasts, we create products we’d use ourselves. From cycling to kayaking, we design solutions that keep gear organized.
How did we get our start?
We launched our first brand, StoreYourBoard, in 2009, and later introduced Teal Triangle as a customizable storage solution. Across both brands, we design and develop a wide range of products, from ceiling racks and kayak hoists to folding tables.
OVERHEAD CEILING STORAGE: Lift your kayak, canoe, or standup paddleboard out of the way for accessible storage. Clear up floor space in your garage and utilize your ceiling for storage!
EASY TO OPERATE: Three pulley system allows you to easily raise and lower your gear without crossover.
INDUSTRIAL GRADE: Alloy steel components and heavy duty rope support up to 150 lbs for secure storage.
ADJUSTABLE STRAPS: 8 ft loading straps fit most shapes and sizes of watercraft. Center connecting strap fits the length of your boat.
EASY TO INSTALL: Ceiling brackets can be mounted to align with ceiling joists running in either direction.
DESIGNED IN THE USA: Proudly engineered in Virginia. Built to store your watercraft and built to last!

Great storage option
I bought this to store my kayak near the ceiling in my garage. Relatively easy to install – I had to mount 2×4 cross boards to center the pulleys between two joists. But, works really well. Now the kayak is completely out of the way until I take it back to the water next spring.

American Made and theQuality Shows
Great design; simple, efficient, using in the house to hold a 23 lb outrigger canoe. The metal parts are sturdy; the screw length was fine to go through drywall and into studs… do not miss your studs..Some folks in other brand/products mentioned rope size; this one is plenty at 1/4″ thickness I believe. It seemed like there was not ion extra line; do not cut any off until you raise and lower the equipment a few times. I thought I had lots of extra, but lucky for me I waited and the overall length is fine.Yes, I paid a bit more for American made, but the value and workmanship was well worth the extra $$… keep the money in our own country.. it feeds your neighbors!!

Not a piece of cake
Time will tell. Centering pulley plates on hidden rafters was some work. Pulling up a 93 lb kayak requires some effort. Parts all appear well made and installation instructions were clear.

Easy to install!
I had 22″ of space between my garage door and the ceiling. I wasn’t sure if I could get my 12′ Eddyline Skylark kayak into the space. It fit with about 4″ to spare! Bonus – I can now lower it directly onto my car. Brackets need to be mounted to a joist in your ceiling. There are two sets of holes in the brackets to fit joists that run front to back, or left to right. This kayak is 41 lbs and it is easy to lift with this kit. You can pull the ropes together to lift it, or pull one at a time to raise the front or back as needed.

Easy To Install – Love the Brake
Hardest part of installationâ¦uncoiling the rope. Otherwise, straightforward with clear instructions, and plenty of rope. I used my impact driver (DEWALT) to drive the lags in, and a chalk line to keep the pulleys aligned. What o really like, is the brake while hoisting. Iâve made these in the past with pulleys from the hardware and hoisting was always the issue. Additionally, and pay attentionâ¦a three pulley system IS the best.Value for money and durabilityâ¦they are plastic pulleys but rated for 150lbs (states that in the manual). My sea kayaks are -60lbs. They are assembled in Vietnam, designed in Virginia.Very pleased with this setup.

Good product
Bought two different brands and kept this one just from an initial inspection of the quality and craftsmanship between this and the competing $40 product. Hardware seems well made and attached to my rafters easily. Rope seems a bit thin but looked like it will do the job on my 90 pound kayaks. Instructions are excellent and very easy to follow. Weâll see how it stands the test of time but initial assessment is this is a great productUpdate- Sept 2024: some signs of surface rust (Iâm in coastal NC and the salt air is brutal here) but these pulleys are still functioning and holding up well.

Great space saver but not fun to install
These are great space savers but installation can be a bit tricky

Like most other reviewers here have said already, this is a awesome product that costs a bit more but is well worth it. Very well made, easy to install and works great. The main difference from the Teal Triangle compared to other lifts is the third pulley, which also acts a brake to hold the weight of whatever your lifting. The wall cleat does not hold the weight of the kayak, it’s more of a backup if something ever went wrong with the third pulley brake.
Disappointed. The ad says itâs for a kayak but when it arrives the instructions show itâs for a paddle board. You cannot raise the kayak without someone lift the kayak as well –
It canât lift a kayak without another person lifting the kayak

Everything about this product was a good experience. The packaging was compact and well organized with everything appropriately protected. Even the rope was carefully coiled. The instructions were detailed and very instructive and easy to follow. The quality of the product seems very good for the price point and all pieces were in perfect condition when they arrived. After installation, I was able to hoist my 41lb kayak by myself with ease and the braking mechanism works perfectly. I was considering a two pulley system but am glad I spent the little bit extra to get this 3 pulley setup. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it for others.

The plate and rollers appeared to be very good. I would like the rope to be stronger. So I put a second set of ratchet straps attached to the ceiling. Now if the rope did break all would be safe

I have 14â ceilings, and this lift works perfectly for lifting the kayaks to the ceiling, they give you plenty of rope to do the job, I only wished they were available in a 2 pack, I had to purchase 2 separately, I purchased them mainly because of the third pulley that keeps the rope close to the wall, they are a bit expensive but they are well made and worth the extra money.
