Great jacket
My grandson needed a reliable jacket that would keep him warm and dry during Atlanta’s transitional cooler and rainy season. I bought this jacket based on the reviews and hope this review furthers sales for this product. This jacket is everything the description and reviews say. It looks wonderful on him (he’s 6′ 2″), is warm and water proof. The hood is a great addition. He says he is comfortable without feeling confined- he does a lot of walking- and doesn’t feel like he needs to over layer to stay warm. Loves the deep pockets. To quote my daughter “this is a REALLY nice jacket.” I purchased the XL for him.

Amazing quality for the price!!
Size is true. I wear a large but I wear 2 sometimes three shirts (tee/shirt/sweater) so I went up a size to XL. 6â tall, 185 lbs. I need 35/36 inch sleeves and HATE it when my sleeves are too short when I lift my arms. This jacket was perfect in all ways!! The quality is incredibly good, material is rugged, it is absolutely water PROOF not resistant. It is NOT windbreaker material, more like ski jacket material without the winter liner. The liner it comes with is very soft. This size is easy to move around in and doesnât bite your neck. The hood is adequate in size and coverage and unzips. If there is a downside to this jacket it is that the zippers are not as good a quality as they could be. But they work!! AFTER FIELD TESTING IN UK: absolutely kept out driving rain in Gale force wind in Scotlandâs wet climate. Rode on Top of bus for two days in London and warmth very adequate dispit constant wind. Also, this coat rolls up into an incredibly small bundle for packing!! Absolutely incredible jacket for the price. Zippers and overlays kept the water out. Hood was pretty huge but did a fantastic job of braking the rain and wind. Would purchase again in a heartbeat.

Superb jacket
It was just as described and fit was perfect. I am an extra large and it fit is such that it allows full unrestricted mobility. People have commented, unsolicited, on its good looking appearance. I ordered tan/khaki in XL and am very pleased especially at this price point. Comparable jackets in brand name stores were 3-5x as expensive and not nearly as well made. Pockets are great especially exterior breast pocket and larger interior one. I use it as an everyday windbreaker in addition to raincoat. Does well in the rain. Canât comment on the hood as I wear a rain hat in the rain. I find hoods limit visibility too much. Good jacket for layering. Only thing that would be an enhancement but not a fault would be an elastic drawstring along bottom of jacket. Overall outstanding value, high quality jacket.

This Jacket Rocks!
This parka is heavier than a mere “shell.” I’m a cyclist and on cooler days I need a little more wind chill protection. This jacket does the job as an outer layer or stand alone windbreaker, The inner webbed lining does give some additional warmth over cheaper thin shell jackets and it does breathe! I haven’t tested it in rain, but given the wind protection, I’m confident this will perform well in rain. Zippers are durable and there is a zippered upper pocket that accommodates a smartphone and should keep it dry. My only complaint is, the hood is zippered (removes) instead of being able to roll up into the collar when not needed. So if you don’t want the hood flapping around, you must take it off. Otherwise, this parka is every bit as good — maybe better — than my similar Columbia that costs more than twice as much. Everyone who has seen it wants one. BUY IT!!

Pretty nice jacket
When I received the package, it was square and very rigid. I thought they sent the wrong item. Once I opened it up, I could see that it was vacuum packed. I opened it up and shook it out and it was a very nice jacket. Lots of pockets. I’m glad I got the XL (when I normally take an L) as it is perfect for wearing a hoodie underneath. Not having anything other thatn a light mesh inside – it’ll keep you dry. But if you are looking for it to keep you warm as well in the rainy fall months order accordingly.

Great rain jacket
This is a great jacket for inclement weather, it’s wind proof and fits really well…I recommend this jacket if you’re looking for a great all around raincoat..The material is very durable and it’s surprisingly light weight.

Not waterproof, more like pretty water resistant.
Had constant drizzle for several cold days while traveling so wore this jacket over a flannel shirt as I toured around on foot. Jacket is great for blocking wind, but water would seep through the jacket fabric and both sleeves and shoulders of my flannel shirt under the jacket would be pretty damp after a couple hours. In my opinion it is pretty water resistant but not waterproof. I had no problem with the zippers and the jacket seems well made. As others mentioned it would be nice for a cinch string on the hood as any wind will blow it off your head. If they advertised this as water resistant I’d give it 4 or 5 stars.

The jacket is good quality . Has a good length as Im 6’2″ and sits well below my waistline. The size does run a bit large but that is good so I can wear something underneath for warmth like an inner shell or sweatshirt.I like that the hood is removable and also the inside pocket for a phone/wallet etc.I have not tried it in the rain yet so I cannot comment on the waterproof aspect of this coat,

It is a great windbreaker.It is not lined so it is very light to carry but you may need a sweater if the weather is cold.Very comfortable.I like the zippered outside breast pocket that can hold a cell phone which is great if you want fast access to the camera feature without unzipping the jacket.Pockets are a good size for gloves and a headband without being afraid that you will lose a glove!Seems very well made. After 6 months of wear, it still looks new.
