   I wanted to write a review to spare the next buyer from ruining their migraine hat like I did.The hat has a smooth sleek fabric texture, a comfortable gel filling, and a slight snugness around the head when worn (that I found really enjoyable). It blocked out light well. When stored in the freezer and then placed on the head it was extremely cold. Even at room temperature it always feels a little cool to the touch, which I enjoyed. I slept like a baby with it on.Two important things: 1. If you’re going to put it in a fridge or freezer make sure it is in a sealed bag. 2. It cannot be washed (other than spot treatment). The manufacturer does disclose this information, so I did not deduct rating points for this.I made the mistake of putting my hat in the freezer without a bag and even though my freezer is fairly clean every odor in the freezer leeched into the hat. It stinks. I tried to wear it anyways and the weird stale freezer smell then got onto my sheets as I napped on them. It was at this time I realized the hat is advertised as only being wipe-clean. You are not supposed to submerge it. I wiped it and the smell remained, so I then decided to risk hand-washing it in a wash basin. The hat seemed to be in good condition afterwards, but the smell remained. At this point I decided that the smell was too unbearable and distracting so I had nothing to lose by putting it in the washing machine (with cold water). The washing machine made the fabric lose it’s tightness and made the gel filling become lumpy. And if that’s not enough, I can still somehow smell the faintest note of the freezer. I’m not sure that it’ll be usable in its current condition, but I will try.I liked the product in theory. It was very comfortable and it did help with headaches. For my own preferences though I would have preferred a product that was more durable and washable, especially something that’s being placed against your skin that might collect oils, makeup remnants, and other dirt over time that you’d want to wash off.

   Worth the price!
   These are the best! They get used often in my house for migraines. Also came in handy when I had leg surgery, it was easy to slip around my leg to help with swelling. Stays cold for a long time! Just be sure to store it in something that seals because the fabric absorbs freezer smells easily!

   Great product wish it stayed cold longer.
   Title says it. Like other reviews, it is comfortable and always has a cooling effect when room temperature. It has a pressure sensation that helps my headaches. Only problem is that it is insanely cold out of the freezer which can be good, for me I need to let it sit for about 3 min or use a towel as a barrier. But then it only stays cold maybe 15 to 20 min. This kinda is a bummer case it is so nice while it lasts. Others have recommended buying multiple for rotation and I plan to do so. It’s very much worth it. If the cold is too much from the freezer I have used the fridge and that provides a great temperature for starting but cold lasts shorter.

   Relief !!!
   Feels so nice when my head is throbbing. The cooling effect is really great. Bought this in the winter so it arrived cold. Put it in my head and it was bliss. Haven’t tried heating it yet, but I’m sure it would be great. Would buy again and recommend.

   Helps!
   I will be buying another to keep at my office. I get headaches a lot and this thing is amazing. The amount of pressure is perfect. Straight from the bag it’s fairly cool and helped immediately when it arrived and was on this melon of mine. Out of the fridge, yes yes yes! The fact that you can cover your sinuses but not completely cover your nose is amazing! And it’s sound dampening too, which is nice when your head is pounding. Great product and again, buying another for my office.

   I have CHRONIC migraines. Literally chronic. Every single day in pain. I’ve had a migraine for 2 days and forgot i purchased this. Went into my freezer and put in on my head and IMMEDIATELY FELT RELIEF. ITS AMAZING. I FEEL SO GOOD. thank you thank you for this.
