   Quality warm winter coat
   This is a truly outstanding coat. I got it just before the winter kicked in, and so had the chance to really check it out while I was in Chicago for a while during sub-zero wind chill. With a flannel shirt under the coat, I was toasty warm. The coat really did a nice job of keeping my torso and arms quite comfortably warm and the length is great. The hood was also surprising. It feels comfortably loose and doesn’t seem like it would keep your head and ears warm, but it really did (it must take advantage of keeping in body heat) – I had a fleece cap that I was able to conveniently keep in an inside pocket on the coat in case I needed it, but most of the time I didn’t, even in the 1/2 mile walk to the train and time spent on the platform outside. I used one of the two top front snap pockets for my Ventra (train fare card) which was handy to keep it safe and not have to get to my wallet. The main front vertical pockets are fine for my bulky heavy-duty gloves, leaving the side pockets for my hands when I want to. The zipper is large-tooth, which I like – it means it’s not as smooth in operation, but it’s a heavier-duty zipper that’s less likely to separate, etc. – a problem I’ve had with most lower-quality winter coats.I’ve also used the coat on a few milder days and it did fine, without being oppressively hot. Overall, a nice-looking, quality coat that makes me feel comfortable in facing the severest upper-midwest winters.

   A great alternative for “general wear”
   I bought this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend (I read the reviews and sizing information carefully before ordering). He loves it and it looks very stylish-yet-functional on him. It’s very warm for our Pittsburgh winters and has a thick lining inside. He is 210 lb, very athletic (narrow waist, but large arms and chest from boxing), generally wears a Medium in light sweaters, but I ordered him a LARGE and this seemed to fit well and he is able to zip it up completely which sometimes has been a problem in the smaller sizes. We were happy with this purchase and joke that I have outfitted his entire winter wardrobe (this is the 2nd coat I’ve gotten him).

   Good jacket, 4.5 stars, small issues with fit.
   4.5 stars. It’s a little small through the chest but has kept me warm enough for my trip up north where it’s been below freezing most of the time. The sleeves are the correct length. The pockets are a little small and I have difficulty getting my gloves in them without completely filling the pocket. Overall, I’m very pleased with the jacket in spite of the small issues listed above.

   I am in love with it
   I live in Ms.and normally its kinda temperate and somewhat warm even in winter. Just today on Christmas its in the 70s ;however, last week when my coat arrived the temps were in the mid 20s and cold as hell. This coat did the trick for me. I am in love with it,as I was not able to find a decent coat for really cold times down here. I am 5.10 about 207 pounds and it seems to fit my long arms with my me looking like Frankenstein with a coat that seems to be too small. Physically the coat literally has weight to it and seems insulated and well made. I got mine for 68 dollar when amazon had a brief sell that lowered it from 149. I love that the buttons have more material holding them in place; instead of being woven in with a little piece of thread. The sleeves fit very snug so that there is little chance air can get in where the wrist and hands exit. Its seems rain resistant and is machine washable.

   Great buy – Warm and Stylish
   As of this review I have enjoyed having this coat through two Michigan winters, and I highly recommend it. I’d buy it again. The coat is much warmer than it looks from the product photos, with plenty of insulation to keep you warm on extremely cold days. The hood does a great job of extending that warmth to your head, as well.If I had any suggestions for improvements, they would simply be to make the hood removable and to consider minor modifications to the zipper sleeve design, as the zipper frequently gets caught if you aren’t careful with it.You will be happy with this coat.

   Great Coat
   I’m extremely satisfied with this coat. I read reviews about this coat coming larger than expected, so instead of getting a medium, I ordered a large. I’m 6’0 200lbs. The large fits great. I have room for more layers under it. The sleeves fit perfectly, love all the pockets. I also read reviews that the buttons don’t look good. I don’t know why they said that. The buttons are fine, don’t worry about them. This is a great coat, I have no doubt this will keep me warm in the cold.

   It was a great coat, though
   I ordered large because that’s what I wear. I also checked the sizing specs and they were correct for me. Unfortunately, it was tight in the shoulders and the sleeves were too short. It was a great coat, though, and I wish it would have fit. I would have exchanged it, but all XLs were out of stock.

   I had expected better quality but was disappointed
   This coat was very heavy. It was too uncomfortable and bulky for my son. Also, the stitching was sloppy. I had expected better quality but was disappointed.

   I absolutely love this jacket, it was a really, really good price so I was worried that it would be too good to be true when I received, but it’s great. You wouln’t know it was Tommy Hillifiger from looking at it, there are no exterior labels. It’s very thick, VERY warm, and seems to be well made and sturdy. I am really happy with this purchase!

    After looking for a parka for a while, I landed on this one with no regret.Really like its design (length, pockets, cutting) versus so many others which I have checked.And it is warm (when I was wearing it at -15C).It is definitely one of the top three choices at this price range.

    Too large fit, a bit too bulky. Overall, not the best fit. But the material quality is nice. Also, the jacket is warm enough for winter in Montreal.
