Dependable, clear, easy to use
Bought these a few years back. Iâve only used the picture function and itâs clear enough. They seem to be pretty reliable although I feel like the picture is a little narrow sometimes. Overall Iâve been very satisfied.

Great for pest animal identification and movements
Donât expect to make great large prints for your walls with this inexpensive trail camera. I use it mainly in video mode to track animal pests around my garden and my house and it is great for that. Last year the woodchucks were getting through my vegetable garden fence and eating my strawberries just before they got ripe. They would not go in my trap and I did not know how they got through the fence. Trail camera to the rescue! I soon discovered where they got under the fence and put my trap there and eventually caught them all. See the video.Similar story with mice that we heard chewing inside the walls of our house. I set out the traps baited with peanut butter and cheese and didnât catch any. Then I set up the trail cameras and saw them running around the traps set along the wall! So I needed better bait. I put a few drops of almond extract over the existing bait and caught 3 of them that night. It is fun to see what animals come to carrion. A dead deer on our property attracted fox, coyotes, eagles, owls, opossums, racoons, and vultures. Night vision works fine for identification.Video high resolution mode works best for these cameras. They trigger very well on animals, even a small mouse 10 feet from the camera or a squirrel 50 feet away. The main problem is if there are wind-blown bushes or trees in the near field of view, the camera triggers too often. It still doesnât fill up a 32 GB memory card, but takes your time looking through all the videos for one you are interested in.To speed-watch through the videos in my windows computer, I first select all (ctrl-A) then right click on the top one and select Play to view in Windows Media Player. If I donât see an animal in the first second or two, I click on Next. With a card reader on an iPhone, you can swipe to the next one to quickly look for good ones.Every time I put back the memory card, I format to erase the card as follows: Insert it with camera off, turn to aim mode, click OK 11 times, press arrow key to format âyesâ, press ok, wait for it, then turn on, close the door, and aim.Usually there is not a tree or post in the right place to strap up the camera, and it is very hard to get it aimed that way. Therefore, I made some quick camera stands as shown in the photo. The base is painted 16×16 inch plywood and the 32 inch metal conduit pipe is placed into a hole in a piece of 2×4 screwed to the plywood, with a drywall screw from the side to anchor it in place. The brick keeps it from blowing over in the wind. The top of the pipe has a dowel pressed into it with a hole for the ball mount provided with the camera. I also made a magnetic mount for my van to use when camping. After three years of use one of the camerasâ processor froze up. I reported this to wosports.com and they sent me a replacement. Very good customer service.

Good budget cameras backed by an honest company.
I’ve had the WOSODA G200 trail cameras for about 8 months and overall have been satisfied with my purchase. These were bought to see what critters visit our yard and while the picture quality is generally decent to good, it’s not always a crisp, clear image that is captured, especially if the target is moving. For example, pictures of deer grazing are pretty clear, but foxes running by tend to be a blur. That said, they are great for the price and suit our needs. After 8 months I’m still on the first set of batteries, though this will be impacted by the settings used (I only capture stills with the 3-shot burst setting and default interval) so YMMV. Note that an SD card reader will need to be purchased separately to view/pull the pictures off the camera. What stands out with this product is WOSODA’s customer support as one of my cameras stopped working suddenly and they replaced it promptly and with no hassle. It’s rare to see a company stand behind their product nowadays, so this was quite impressive.TLDR: The product on its own is 4 stars, but their excellent customer support makes it 5 stars! I would definitely purchase these again and highly recommend this product as a basic trail camera.

Does not trigger (take Picture) most of the time
I have had two of these and have had them set up for approx. 3 months. I was getting very few pictures/videos and thought there just was not many animals moving in front of the cameras. Then I realized I could walk in front of the camera and it would only record some of the time. Once I even saw a deer in front and within 20 feet of the camera and it did not record. Almost worthless. Another problem, they take 8 AA batteries and the life is not very long. I have a very nice camera that uses 4 AA batteries and they last longer than the 8 in these cameras.

ugh the frustration! UPDATED!
When they work, these camera take nice pictures. But after a couple of weeks one of them barely takes any pictures at all. I am disappointed. I was sooooo hoping these would do what they were supposed to! I checked the batteries and bought another SD card and still nothing. I should not be surprised with the price. I would not buy these again. I am adding an edit to my postâ¦the company reached out to me and has offered a full refund. So I would give them 5 stars on their customer service! Thank you for reaching out Wosoda and reimbursing me. ð UPDATE! I returned these cameras and have received a full refund. Customer service was great! Thank you!
