These are good
For the cost a treadmill would be better but if your elderly and need to exercise sitting down and donât want to spring for a recumbent bike this is good

Works Great
This Under Desk Elliptical Machine is a great little tool. It isn’t a heavy workout but it does help strengthen the legs and hips. I love that it fits easily under my desk and can be used as I have to sit throughout the day. It is a heavy piece, but that’s good so it doesn’t move around with use. I have enjoyed using it and recommend it.

Quiet, Handy Exerciser
I unpacked and set this elliptical up easily, and now I am sitting at my desk, peddling and burning calories! Not just for seniors! When you spend a lot of time at a desk, you need to get your circulation up and those calories moving. This exerciser does the trick, easily and quietly. It is weighty! This is not a flimsy peddler, but a nice piece of exercise equipment that fits beautifully under my rather large desk. I’m not sure what to do with it when I’m not peddling, because it is good sized and heavy, but I’ll figure it out.The foot pedals come with a rather mysterious set of Velcro straps which I decided to slide over the foot pieces while intact in a loop. They seem to hold well. I’m rather at a loss as to where the resistance straps connect (the instructions aren’t clear, but I’ll figure it out. The entire unit is geared for safety.Do not stand upright on the unit. Be sure and switch it off and unplug it when not in use. The resistance straps look like they will not come off until you take them off. The remote even came complete with two AAA batteries, a nice surprise. The exerciser has many settings, both remote control and manual. They are also manual as far as peddling, or programed for a 30 minute varied workout. The setting for the workout I want will take a bit of time to remember, but there is a booklet. The booklet is also written in proper English, another positive point. In conclusion, I think that this is a great choice for someone who needs to move more, work out a bit, or even build up strength. It is sturdy, well built, quiet, and smooth. I hardly notice the motion until it changes direction. (There are probably settings that don’t change direction, but that’s for another day.)

Not impressed
For the most part this isn’t a horrible device, however, the straps that come with this aren’t big enough to loop around the pedals and hold my feet in, even without shoes on.The hook fixing point isn’t very obvious and took a while to figure out where it was hidden. When we attach the resistance bands, it feels like it’s going to break at any second and therefore we can’t use it.Doesn’t really feel like there’s much in the way of resistance when you keep the motor off and when the motor is on, it doesn’t feel like I’m actually getting any exercise because I’m not providing the motion myself. This may work well for many people, but for me? I don’t like it and am not comfortable using it. My wife won’t use it either for the same reasons and she’s tried it a couple of times.

Surprisingly good workout
Okay, so this isn’t exactly going to be comparable to going out for a run or working out on your indoor bike… But it actually gives surprisingly good “workout”. I spend most of my day seated at a desk working with my computer and I’m not very active during that time. I do have a standing desk that I use to get up every now and then but I’m still not moving much. This desk elliptical gives me decent movements while seated enough to actually elevate my heart rate. Again, not to the same level as out jogging, but you know a lot better than just not moving at all.The elliptical itself feels very well made with quality materials. It also operates very quietly so it is not distracting. It is quiet enough that you should be able to use in an open office space without bothering your coworkers. Honestly I think the HVAC noise in your company is probably louder. Also, if you are a bit ADHD, this thing helps reduce fidgeting. I constantly move around my desk, shake my leg or find myself fidgeting with objects around my desk. Using this while working, I noticed I am actually a lot more productive because all of my fidgeting urge is directed towards the elliptical. I think this thing is worth just with this benefit alone for me.

Definitely is Quiet!
Fairly light weight for what it is. Works well and great for use under our home desk. I like that you can use it while sitting or standing and get some movement and exercise in.
