Stamina Inmotion Compact Strider Foot Exercise Machine – Under Desk
Mary Ann Kapilevich –
Keeps me moving.
This under desk elliptical is much easier to use than I thought it was going to be! It would actually be perfect for my elderly grandmother who is having problems with blood circulation because of her limited mobility. There are about 15 different speeds and a few programmed exercises that you can use. Or, like I did, you can just start pedaling. From the video you can see that it gets you started with pedaling. You can push and go faster if you want, but you can also just sit there and keep your balance while the machine does most of the work. I don’t need straps to keep my feet on the pedals, but the elderly or children might. I believe you can get those from the seller if needed. The design is pretty clever because it is compact, sturdy, and even has a place for the remote control. The box was a bit damaged but the product was packaged well so it was not harmed. It functions just like advertised and is pretty hefty. This is good because once you get it in a place it will stay there. This is a very good looking machine and I may end up with another one for my grandmother for the holidays. Also, from the time I opened the box to the time that I started using it, was only as long as the time it took me to plug the power cord in. Super easy to set up. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

EXACTLY what I wanted!
Very well made! So easy to use! The Remote works well. Smooth glide. I like the15 speeds and being able to use either a pre programmed setting or my own manual setting. I can absolutely say that I do feel the circulation in my legs when I am through and also feel so much better walking with my arthritic knees, because my legs feel so good. I wouldn’t do any less then 30min at a time. It goes so fast and the machine is doing the work for you, but your legs get the benefit. I really researched these machines gor werks before I settled on this one. A few were a bit cheaper and a a lot were much more expensive. The more expensive ones did the same thing and some didn’t even have remotes. I have had this for almost 3 weeks. I have used it almost every day. I am very satisfied and highly recommend! Of course shopping was very fast, as it always is from Amazon and with Prime and free shipping, it was a win, win for me!

Easy to use
The machine is compact and sturdy, making it an excellent choice for my at home office. Its sleek design fits comfortably under most desks, allowing for seamless integration into daily routines. The build quality is solid, with a robust frame that feels durable and reliable. With it having 15 adjustable speeds cater to various fitness levels, from light exercise to more intense workouts. The Under Desk Elliptical Machine is a commendable option for anyone looking to incorporate more movement into their day without leaving their chair. While it may not offer the intense workout some might desire, it provides a gentle yet effective exercise solution, for all looking to stay moving during the day. Its portability and remote control provide great value for those seeking a practical and user-friendly fitness tool.

Good for low impact PT or those with limited mobility
My first impression is that the product is well made. It’s constructed of plastic and has a heft to it keeping it firmly planted on the ground. On carpet, it doesn’t move at all but on hardwood/chair mat, it will slide a tiny bit but it’s super minimal. The elliptical comes packed with a user manual, power cord, and remote. The remote is full function allowing you to access all the controls you would have on the machine. There is a handy remote storage area on the top of the unit to keep it from getting lost. The unit has 5 tracking modes: Time, distance, speed, steps, and calories burned. The 6th mode is scanning which will cycle through all the measures. There are 3 automatic modes (P1, P2, P3) and one manual mode. You can only control the speed and direction in manual mode. The remote and control panel provide the following functions: start/stop, function change (changes what tracking mode is being shown on the display), direction, speed +/-, and power.I’m 5’11” and my chair does not go high enough to effectively use this machine under my desk. From floor to the top of my chair it’s 18 inches. If I add my 2″ seat cushion, it’s just about right. Note that in my case, the top of my knee just barely clears the bottom of my desk at 29 inches at the highest point of the elliptical. Your experience may be different depending on your chair and desk height. I would say, if you have 30″ of clearance from the floor, that should be enough room for most situations and setups. I have an adjustable desk so knee clearance wasn’t my issue, it’s my chair height. The range of motion for me is at most 10 degrees of knee bend when i’m sitting straight in my chair. If my chair were higher, I could get much more out of this when at my desk. Reclining in my chair a bit gets me much more extension on my legs making it feel more like a normal standup elliptical experience. I get a much better experience when sitting on my dining room chair which is 21″ from top to floor.I did my first manual test at speed 10 and in 30 minutes, I managed to burn a whopping 7.5 calories. That’s about 1/4th of a starburst chew. I’ll be ripped in no time! Kidding aside, it didn’t feel accurate but I believe it’s because of my seating position and the lack of resistance in the way I was using it. If I recline and use the elliptical like a recumbent bike, I felt a lot more of my muscles were being used and the calorie count was going up quicker.Noise from the motor is very quiet. It’s actually much quieter than the fans on my computer. The slides are very smooth and can be dusted and cleaned easily by lifting up the pedals. The pedals have a raised bump texture for non-slip activity. If you need foot straps to attach to the pedals, I believe you can contact the seller to have then shipped to you.Mind you, under desk ellipticals are not meant as a full on workout to lose weight. It’s main purpose is to get you moving. It does what it’s supposed to and it’s light impact for those with arthritis or are doing PT. I would say this is ideal for elderly with limited mobility who need a little help moving their knees and leg joints. It has a motor to assist in the movement, making it easier to be active when you are normally stationary.Personally, my knees hurt from an old injury and this helps me keep low impact activity in my life instead of just sitting at my desk for 10 hours a day bouncing my leg.
