Amazon’s best reviewer Reliable Power, EXCEPTIONAL form factor
“I bought this to pair with my Bluetti EB3A and lem me tell you it literally powered my camping trip. One problem with all solar panels is that you have to have good sunlight, so expect to be repositioning this bad boy as the sun moves throughout the day but it was more than enough to charge my 268wh battery and it kept me going all weekend long..”– From Amazon’s best reviewers.

Four FlexSolar 120W panels wired 2S2P, hanging vertically, recharging a 2 Kwh Solar UPS ð
I’ve been testing four of these FlexSolar 120 watt panels with a LiFePo4 2 Kwh 2000W Pure Sine Wave Solar Generator/UPS that can handle up to 500 watts of solar panel input. ( @ less than 15Amps and less than 48V ) The generator will also take an additional 1100 watts charge from the wall, but I have a timer between it and the wall socket so that it gets 110V charging power for a couple hours a night, in case it didn’t get enough sun to fully charge it during the day. This lets the solar generator charge and run with power from the panels during the day, but makes sure it gets a full charge once a night from the mains, just in case.FlexSolar’s site says these can be wired in series and/or parallel, but they don’t say how many would be the maximum. Interestingly, they each have a little red light that will turn off if they are not happy with how they are connected. (Disconnect and reconnect them properly, and the light in the center of the panel’s junction box comes back on.) Wiring these as two parallel sets of two panels in series, their open circuit voltage exceeds my generator’s 48V input limit by a couple volts, but in actual operation their combined voltage isn’t even close to threatening to do that, so I’m declaring this combination a functional success. You can see in the pic that I have my 4 panels each hanging vertically, yet I’ve seen these manage to put out just over 110 watts each in this orientation (442 watts max, so far today). It seems they really ARE 120 watt panels and would happily give me the missing 10 watts each, if I would just point them at the sun. This setup is powering my home office, and this review, with 414 watts of solar generation as I write this. The performance of these panels exceeded my expectations. Hanging them this way, though makes me wish the top two grommets were a bit more solidly reinforced. Still, 5 stars for these with their nice stands, their small form factor compared to their actual output, and their all weather durability.

Best solar panel to charge power banks
I have both the 40W and this 50W solar panel, and I love them both. This 50W panel charges my power banks at 40 watts using the Type C port, which is impressive as many other solar panels I have donât achieve this. I have a 60W panel labeled 60W PD, but it only reaches 30 watts at best. This solar panel is truly made of high quality materials itâs very tough and has some weight to it. The foldability with the built-in case is of high quality and feels heavy-duty, unlike my others that feel like they will rip apart. This is the go-to for charging USB devices that need higher wattage for faster charging. My ultimate favorite solar panel is their 40W version. It charges at 30-35 watts, is super light, super small, and very well-built. Itâs my favorite.

Missing items (Updated)
Like numerous others have stated… The box is missing contents. I got one cable and it didn’t even fit the picture from the manual. The manual stated it comes with one cable. The box says it comes with 3 sets of different cables. The box and manual state that it comes with 2 carabiners. Mine came with none. The Solar panel did actually come in the box… Amazing at this point. It does seem to charge phones and other items. I have to order a 5521 to 5521 cable to charge my portable battery station. The entire reason I bought the thing. I would stay far far away from this item and anything else this company sells.*Update*The seller reached out to me and explained that this is their updated version and it doesn’t come with everything that is listed. They took full responsibility and gave me a refund. The solar panel works great. Puts out a little over 50 watts at peak. The seller is very responsive and helpful.

Fantastic Little Panel
I tried LumoPalâs 60w solar panel and it would not charge my iPhone 14 Pro Max or Apple Watch Series 7 at all, whatsoever. I live in Southern California, so bright and intense sun isnât a problem hereâ¦This FlexSolar 60w solar panel works amazing! I used three plastic rings to hook it onto our outdoors clothesline to test. Iâll probably use this same method + heavy duty rubber wire ties or s-hooks to use it in the real world. So far, Iâve been able to simultaneously fast charge my Apple Watch Series 7 with the USB C PD connector and my 10,000mah Mophie MagSafe kickstand battery from 15-70% and 0-50% respectively in about 30-45min.Iâm looking forward to bringing this on my upcoming camping trip. Itâs a little heavy, but it feels well-made and like a quality product given the price! Plus, it actually works unlike the other solar panel I tried and returned (lol).

Perfect alternative to name brand jackery sagaâs
-Pros1 Compact/light2 Quick and easy to use3 Multi port for wide range of use4 Lots of hook points for different angles-Cons1 Like any solar panel, I Couldnât get the full 60W, even on a perfectly sunny day with no clouds and pointed directly at the sun I could only get 51W- Annoyances1 kinda awkward to angle directly at the sun, really have to be clever about angling it to get the optimal use- side notes1 good quality material, makes it feel like I got what I paid for2 if you have a jackery, the black and orange matches nicely (makes it look name brand)3 I have a jackery 290, and it charges in about 8-10 with good sun from dead, but if you have anything bigger Iâd recommend getting the bigger solar panel, as this will just trickle charge it

Second Purchase….Good value for portable system.
Vert compact and portable. I saw a video review where someone criticized it because they couldn’t get full charging due to it being flat on the ground, but all you have to do to remedy that is make use of the built on loops and attach a few low cost carabiners to them and you can hang it up to collect solar power at any angle you desire. This product, in conjunction with any small rechargeable battery system in the 300 to 1000 range will give you all the power you need for basic small electronics such as weather radios, cell phones, and laptop charging. Its ideal for natural disaster prepping on a budget. Granted, its not going to power an entire house, but that’s not what it is designed for.

Produced a peak of 78w In direct sunlight… very impressed but would definitely reccomend a higher wattage once you get anything more than a basic powerstation (as seen here)…. Will be getting a higher wattage in future for my new 2kwh ecoflow….

Before I say anything else: I’m very happy with the product, but there is some room for improvement. The panel does what it says. It’s a solar panel you can fold up and fit into your backpack. On a good day, it will hit the 60W rating and I have even managed to get it to (very slightly) exceed that rating by pointing it directly at the sun and using an MPPT charger on the direct DC output. When the weather plays along, the built-in USB ports work well, and it’s plenty to charge a power bank or keep several small devices running indefinitely. It can even power a laptop under moderate load.Due to the foldable design, it’s difficult to keep pointed at the sun, and laying it flat on the ground inherently limits its power output. It also feels a bit fragile – even just while folding it back up I’ve occasionally heard a little “crack”. This doesn’t seem to have affected its power output yet, and there’s no damage as far as I can tell, but it certainly doesn’t inspire confidence.Any clouds will drastically reduce the power output to the point where the USB ports become unreliable (they’ll cut in & out every few seconds). Using the direct DC output with an external MPPT device works more reliably.
