Nice cast iron pots
These are just as described. I haven’t used them yet, but can tell they will be heavy to move around once filled with stew. I do like them and I know they will performance great for what I bought them for (prep).

The Dutch oven was better than expected. Heavy, and somewhat seasoned. I was worried because it had no feet but the included charcoal rack worked great making it versatile for charcoal or for propane burners. Loved the size!!!

First off, Iâm typically a loyal Lodge user, but I wanted to try Velaze. Why? This one is a multipurpose tool: a Dutch oven and skillet. Flip the lid and now you have a pan. The price is great considering you have two new kitchen items.â¢Seasoning it was simple and only took an hour at 350-degrees (Fahrenheit).â¢Makes super delicious chicken that doesnât get dried out.If you love cooking with cast iron, you need this! And if youâve never used cast iron, this is extremely simple to use and easy to clean.

I bought this pot for our fire pit meals at our cabin. I havenât used it yet; it needs to be seasoned as per instructions but it seems to be good quality and itâs heavy. I will have to update this review after I actually use it.

Somewhat misleading
This Dutch oven is advertised as being pre seasoned. Yet it came with seasoning instructions upon arrival and was obviously not seasoned. Iâm not sure what pre-seasoned means to Velaze, but historically Iâve purchased these with a factory season on them. Otherwise the Dutch oven has worked well for the purpose I bought it.

I like the idea of the versatility of this product. You could use it on a BBQ and put coals on top of the lid. The lid doubles as a griddle. Some recipes call for you to brown your meat in a flame proof casserole pan. This can go on the hob. If you bring the food to the table in it, it keeps hot for ages. Iâm looking forward to using it outside.
