Good compromise between SPD and flat pedals
My wife and I share the same indoor smart trainer. I like to train with SPD cleats and she prefers regular shoes. These pedals are exactly what we need.I was concerned that clipping in might be a problem. My shoes have recessed cleats so I can walk normally so I thought the soles of my shoes would interfere with the flat part of the pedals but they don’t and I can clip in and out without any problems. My wife flips the pedals over and rides with regular training shoes. The pedals are large and grippy so she has does not have to constantly correct her foot position. If you use these outside at night, you’ll like the reflective strips. They do a great job of advertising your presence to traffic coming up behind. They are not light weight and they don’t have expensive bearings but they are well-priced and do their job perfectly.

Good value, loose lockup.
These pedals are a great value for the money, they are solid, have good grip on the non-clip side, and are on par with how they are listed. The cleat lockup is a little shaky, I have the tension dialed almost all the way up, to the point where it is a little difficult to get my left cleat to engage. But once the cleats are in, there is still a good amount of play in the cleat. I think this is just because of the lower quality, which should be expected at this price point.

Great alternative to Shimano 324
I currently use Shimano SPD 324 pedals on my Kona Sutra touring bike. Great pedals. Recently got a Raleigh Passage 3.0 city bike ($60 at the Goodwill in new condition – my lucky day) and wanted to replace the clunky pedals. But didnât want to spend more on pedals than the bike cost. Solution were the Venzo hybrid pedals. They work great and are a functional equivalent to the Shimano 324. Easy tension adjustment and happy riding. You will have to pop a reflector off of each pedal in order to adjust the tension. Simple to do. And I would buy them again.

Versatile Utility
I wanted a set of single-side spd clipless pedals for my gravel bike so that I could lock in on longer rides, or just ride to the mailbox in my daily shoes. These work perfectly, and solved a front wheel overlap problem when using toe bails. Moreover, they tend to hang free vertically such that the clips are always toward the rear, so I don’t really need to look down to get the correct side. Rotate the tops backwards, and I’m on flat pedals. Rotate them forward, and I’m on the clips. The pedals seem well made and rugged, if a bit heavy. They’re not fragile, but they’re also not going to appeal to someone trying to shed grams from their ride. The clip action using the Shimano cleats already on my shoes was perfect out of the box (fairly neutral), and I didn’t make any adjustments. Getting into them is easy with a little downward weight, and twisting out is noticeably easier than with my minimalist Shimanos. The pedals I received have enclosed stems, as in the photos presently up. I noticed that the versions in the video had open stems. The stem shafts have a hex socket for installation without a pedal wrench. If you’re wanting to extend the shafts for a little more crank arm clearance, I recommend the Sunlite extensions. But you’ll need a pedal wrench for the installation.

Versatile pedal
It took about a week to get this pedal adjusted properly. The SPD clip was too tight. Had to loosen it two full turns to clip in easily. The shoe was too far back and needed almost a centimeter forward. Now it was perfect. SPD for the road and MTB for trail or errands. Really like the options

Nice pedals
Was surprised with these pedals. They appear to be very good quality, look great on my bike, easy to install, and adjusted perfectly right out of the box to clip in. I think they were a great buy!!!! Liked the first set so much I bought a second set. Highly recommend

Secure and inexpensive
These bike pedals are easy to put on a bike. They are easy to connect to with my cycle shoes. Easy to reconnect when starting and stopping.

Woohoo clipped in and found they are preadjusted to maximum resistance. When beginning to use clipless pedals you need to adjust them down to almost no resistance to getting out . This saves on entertaining other people by being clipped in and your foot not getting out till you topple over. Adjust one notch up per week till it becomes second nature to unclip as you slow down to stop.

Good sturdy pedals with the Shimano SPD clip on one side and a good flat pedal on the other for easy riding

These double sided pedals are NOT your heavy weight, low quality things. The finish is surprisingly good and the bearings spin smoothly. Time will tell how long the bearings last, but for the money they are paying off already.
