The fastest Burning BD-R’s sold, very reliable, No Coasters
I have tried probably 15 different brand of 25gb BD-R’s over the past 20 years. No matter which ones I try I always come back to Verbatim, as they are fastest burning and the most reliable. My PS3 has gotten real picky on which burned discs it will play, not with these they play perfect in it. One thing I do I only record up to 22gb on a disc, max. I will stop between 20 and 22gb when I want to write to it. Even though this says up to 16x, My LG burners only show 12x. BUT, good advice, burn at slower speeds, less errors, I burn these at 8x with no problems. I also turn error correction on when burning. I make my BDR Disc Covers I add brighter colors before running it through my Canon printer. A bit on the high side of price, but worth it, IMO.

Always top quality and NEVER disappoints
I only buy Verbatim-brand discs for their reliability and longevity when creating the master archival backup discs for my clients’ digital work product. I have been around since 2006 and have been using Verbatim brand discs for as long as there has been a choice to be made. I have yet to go back to an archived Verbatim-brand discs and had any issue with loading, data integrity or data retrieval. I cannot recommend them strongly enough.

UPDATE: After switch burning software to Toast 20, no issues
UPDATE:Though failures were due to discs, but after switch burning software from Mac Disc Utility to Toast 20, no issues, no coasters.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Not sure if this was a bad batch, but 4 out of 10 discs failed verification. At 40%, that’s a pretty steep failure rate. Now it could be my writer (Pioneer BDR-XD08B) or it could be my Mac computer using Disc Utility software, so I can’t say for sure that the discs were the problem, but this was my experience.I will order another batch of these 10 discs and see if there’s any difference. If i keep getting fails, I’ll try another writer (if I can get one) and/or I’ll try a different writing app (like Toast). And if I get better results using these discs with other systems, I’ll be back to let you know.

They work great
My l g burner acknowledged them, and even though they say they’re four speed power to go thirteen recorded at eight speed. I used them to back up all our family photos and videos, and then we put them in the safe deposit box. 2 disc’s refused to work at $6 a disc that was $12 wasted

Offline, secure storage at an incredible value
I facilitate corporate backups that absolutely do not intersect the internet, whatsoever. At a whopping 100GB capacity, these discs are the best value in town. Safer than SSD and more reliable than HDD, these can really outlast traditional magnetic tapes as well. Current tech does not allow for fast recording speeds but I accept this deficit in favor of the capacity and longevity, hands down!

Don’t Buy. A “10pk Spindle” should actually have 10 blank disks not 9
Bought these to archive photographs & data files. 3 of the discs were unwritable, the burner software just said media error. But after finally getting the 5th disk burned successfully, I just realized there is only ONE left, not TWO as there should be 10 in total. SO yeah, this “10pk Spindle” was not worth it.

Great, Good value (1/2 price of local mail order …
Great , Good value (1/2 price of local mail order offers) came quickly, no Bad disks , 1/2 way thru stack. One bug , but probably my old gear is the fault. I’m using an Old LG GGW-H20L All disk created work although it gives an error creating the disk directly in Pinnacle 19.5 on win7 but no error writing the same BD image saved to disk up to a new blank disk from that same stored BD image later? Either way both methods seem to create usable disks, cant find any shortcomings playing either. That LG BD writer is about 4 -5 years old and so is the PC and I had done all possible firmware updates to the drive and the PCs Motherboard. These are apparently made using an older style of manufacturing which is suppose to have better compatibility in older drives according to one of the reviews. It seems to be true. I had tried newer BD writers and other new media combo’s before that were all not recognizing , so these really saved me from upgrading everything!

I’ve been using recordable media since the mid-1990s, and Verbatim continues to provide top-notch products at reasonable prices. Never had any trouble with their discs, whether CD-R, DVD+/-R or BD-R. Excellent quality and unbeatable longevity. If you care about your content, you can’t go wrong with these. They’re not the cheapest, but definitely worth the premium.
