   They do what they’re supposed to
   I ordered these to use with red light therapy for our dog, but her red light came with a pair. These are now the backup pair. They work just fine and protect the eyes as they are supposed to. Yay us. I am happy with my order, even though I ended up not needing them.

   good protective laser glasses as a spare
   I got these laser safety glasses for patients under treatment while I use my dental soft tissue laser. i don’t believe the claim that it can filter out such a broad range of wavelength (200-1000?) so my staff & I still use the original visors supplied by the manufacturer. For patients, since most of them close their eyes during treatment anyway, these safety glasses is just an extra layer of protection. It’s good to have this as a spare since patients are hard on their visor and the need to disinfect in between patients. Very light weight, one size fits all but it does block out all light coming from the sides due to the design of the frame.

   Get Certified Glasses
   Full disclosure I did not purchase this product, you’ll see a badge saying this is an Amazon Vine review. This means that Amazon provided this product in exchange for an *honest* review, and in my honest opinion these glasses can not be trusted. I am not aware of any good way verify their claims of what wavelengths are blocked, but anecdotally I could still see the laser spot from my laser cutter while wearing these WITH the laser’s built in light protection. The beam was a yellowish color rather than the brilliant blue it normally is, but it really didn’t seem to dim it any more than a pair of dark sunglasses would. Don’t gamble with your eyes, buy something certified from a trusted vendor. It will be more expensive, but MUCH less than the medical costs for your eyes if you don’t protect them.

   Okay but weird fit
   These Viconor Laser Safety Glasses, Eye Protection for Red Light Therapy appear to work as expected, but for me, they just fit weird. I’m pretty picky over how my glasses it and feel. These for me are bulky, and are just not comfortable. Others in my household said they are not too bad, so they might work for you. At any rate, I will use them until I can find a pair that will fit me better, as protecting my eyesight is important to me.

   Super Dark Essential Eye Protection
   Needless to say, if you are utilizing red lights for red light therapy, this is one piece of essential gear that you will want to wear when using it. The red lights are pretty potent and having your eyes exposed to it is thought to be very damaging. These glasses are great since they wrap around my eyes and block out the majority of not just red light, but all light. It reminds me of wearing the sunglasses built for people who wear regular glasses. There is some heft and size to this but the fit is good and snug so it doesn’t slip. There are side panels to that the legs do not completely block your vision. The lens and frame material feels good and not cheap. It comes with a zippered case to protect the glasses from being crushed since the frames are curved. The color of the lenses seems to really affect the way the red lights look and my vision seems different after looking at the red lights with the glasses on than with the glasses off (not staring directly but just the reflection off of my skin). I feel like the lenses do indeed change things for the better. These are not just regular everyday sunglasses. I am not sure you’d want o wear them for any type of everyday wear since they are dark, but they do indicate that there is protection from all types of light emissions. These are specialty glasses that work well for their intended purposes.

   Eye protection
   These work great for my room, I have black lights in my room, some are more intense than others and these do make a difference in your eyes and not damaging them are much.

   Nice Safety Glasses
   I really like these safety glasses. I use a red light therapy lamp on my face twice a week and the red lights are super bright. The lamp came with some “sunglasses” but they did little to shield my eyes from the brightness of the lights. These glasses though are way better. They are much darker than a pair of sunglasses and they have a green tint to them which helps balance out the red light. My eyes feel so much more protected in these than the glasses that were included with my red light therapy lamp. As a bonus, the glasses include a cleaning cloth and a hardish kind of case that zips closed.

   Solar Eclispe-No
   These go on nice & stay on when you reach down for a towel or something. Very dark as you look thru, thus not a pair of sunglasses. I have a red light device & it does exactly what it claims.I even considered wearing them for the recent eclispe but couldn’t verify that that could be done saely so I passed on it!Over all they are for their intended use!!
